Anyone?

DS2 is wheezing so badly I can hear it from my room... Is it ok for me to put the mask on his face and give him ventolin whilst asleep? Or is that a no no?

I'm just worried that if I wake him to give it to him, he may not go back to sleep which I know sounds selfish but I have been quite sick for the past few days with a vomiting bug and I would like to avoid that if possible...

Anyone?

Get him up ASAP and give him the ventolin. Asthma is not something to take lightly. He could choke on the mucus if he's asleep wheezing.

Thanks, he hasn't actually been diagnosed with asthma but is being treated for it if that makes sense.

I spoke to 13 health and they said to lightly wake him and administer it, he has taken it and is breathing easier now, snuggled up in bed with me.

I had been told by a friend that she gives her son ventolin through his spacer while he is asleep and I was just unsure if this was safe...
