Hi All,
I am feeling terrible!!! I am having horrible morning sickness.....constantly queasy and nauseous but no throwing up.
Am feeling so damn tired all the time and am completley off certain foods like the thought of chicken makes me want to hurl....and quiches....bleeeuuuch! And the thought of coffee and alcohol....there is no way I can possibly go near any of that stuff without my stomach rolling around.
Its just so hard to feel happy when I feel so damn sick all the time. Im not cranky at all yet....I am hoping that that doesnt change. Its just this constant nausea thats doing my head in!
The only thing that seems to help is....nothing!! I get temporary respites when I eat but then it comes back again in about half an hour.
And I have already put on a kilo!! ARRGHHHH!
How is everyone else feeling?

I feel very much the same, though it is not all the time, just most of the time...no throwing up either, just feeling bleeeuuugh.

Oh yeah....and I am excruciatingly tired! I just have no energy. I just cant be bothered doing anything and its hard to get the energy up to do stuff.
I am finding it really hard to exercise as I just have no energy so I am worried that I will be putting on weight 'cause I am eating so much to stop the nausea!
Bring on the happy hormones!

So true!
Hey Kristy, how did you feel with your first? Was your morning sickness as bd as this or better/worse?
My morning sickness with my first wasnt really bad....some nausea but not as bad as this! I thought my body would have remembered what it was all about and settled into it quite nicely...but nooooooo!

I feel the same.... nausea (constantly!) and so so very tired. I have also really gone off lots of food. At the moment, all I can handle is mashed potato and toast with vegemite. I am vego too, so I am a bit worried that I am missing out on some nutrients. Thank god for vitamin tablets!!
Am feeling a little better today (and am 8 weeks! Whoo Hoo!), so am hoping it is on the improve. Much worse when have a bad nights sleep though and don't get my nana-nap... :D

Hey Michelle
With my first I didn't get any.... with Bella I would feel a little queezy around tea time but only when there were vegies cookings!
This time omg I have never known anything like it. I would rather have a hangover :barf: LOL

With Ds I had it quiet bad but so far with this one I only get a little queezy if I don't eat straight away when I am hungry.
When did you girls first get the MS? I am 6 weeks and 2 days.
I am hoping I won't get it as bad this time around.

I am fine all day but then come 4pm and I start feeling :barf: Haven't actually thrown up - I refuse to vomit!! But just sooooo queasy , the thought of cooking meat churns my stomach. Last night cooked dinner for DH and then because I felt so icky about meat I made a small potato bake for myself. I remember reading somewhere that carbs are good for icky stomachs - worked for me anyhoo. I was never this queasy with my last 2 pregnancies.

Mine started 6 days on the dot LOL
Toast and vegemite helps me so I have it first thing in the morning to settle my tummy.
I think maybe cos we already have children and are busy with them that it makes the ms harder for us, being tired and stuff??

I spoke too soon! Last night was horrible!!! I had a bucket in front of me for hours but no vomitting! I just needed to so badly to feel some relief, but noo! I had a really bad headache too, and the thougt of food, (any food) turns my stomache! I took panadol and it did nothing, I ended up taking a Maxalon before bed and that worked really well. I don't know what I'm going to do about this food aversion thing,I can't think of anything I wouldn't mind eating:no:

Well my m/s started pretty much around the 6 week and a couple of days mark as well. I was feeling fine up until then and I woke up one morning and NAUSEA CITY!
Its not so bad today....I am also finding vegemite is helping as well...especially vegemite saladas.
DP is finding it so odd that I cant eat a lot of foods...especially as I have always loved my food. And I am finding it even odder that I cant eat any sweets - no chocolate, cake, nothing! The thought of something like that makes me want to hurl (again!).
Its funny how we all are feeling (roughly) the same. Nice to know that I am not the only weirdo with bizzare food aversions!
And hang in there BorntobeMummy - hopefully it wont get any worse for you. I know a couple of my girlfriends that had babys recently had to go on medication to stop the ms as it was so bad.
Am very jealous Marlie! I will be 8 weeks next week so hopefully it will be all over for me then too! :fingerscrossed:
Kristy - I thought have more babies would make it easier on the body as it should remember what is going on....but it sounds like it gettign worse! Imagine how you would feel after 5!

Oh me too!
I have been very seasick if I don't eat, I don't want to weigh myself - because I have had to eat so much (and refuse to throw up!), and have been to tired to exercise I've already grown out of my well fitting pants - and it sure ain't baby.
I'm finding the food aversions sway's around with no consistancy what so ever - very hard for DP to keep up with what I can't stand that day.
It started around 6 weeks, I seem to get a few good days a week, hopefully I'll start to get a few more as I learn to manage it . . . . until then if anyone wears linx deo near me - watch out!
hope we all feel better soon!

Before I got pg, I never ate any junk, like take away or lollies or anything. But in the last few weeks, I have had so much chocolate, Chicken Treat, and I am addicted to White Orchid fudge... pure sugar *drool*.
I find if I don't have a big dinner I am really ill the next morning. I've been keeping Nutri Grain bars on my bedside table, so DH gets woken up at 3am with the crackling of the wrapper them me nibbling away on these bars. They help though! Waking up with an empty stomach makes me feel seedy for the whole day.

Yep the smells are getting to me too. If DH eats something stinky then goes to kiss me, I just can't do it and I feel so bad! I close my lips really tight and don't breathe in :o Poor guy.
