Hi everyone :wave:

I did a HPT this morning and it came up with a very faint line. Does this mean it's positive :confused:

The only reason why I tested was because I wasn't sure when I had AF last and I've had this little voice in the back of my head telling me to do the test. And it came up really quickly but the line didn't get darker.

Hope someone can help me

oh Caz, this sounds exciting!
I would have thought it is a positive. Was it straight away or a while later? You can ring the customer helpline on the pack and quiz them.
I can relate to the voice in the head thing- that's what made me test and it was positive.

Yup- sounds like the real deal!!!! Buy another one, and test tomorrow morning, or get thee to a Dr. for a blood test.

It's a public holiday here today so i'm not sure if any chemists are open or any doctor's. So looks like i'll have to wait until tomorrow.

I can't tell DF until tonight, he's went away for the weekend and won't be home until tonight

I found the chemist around the corner from me was open so I bought another HPT did the test and it came up BFP again :eek: :smiliedance:

Now all I have to do is tell DF, wish me luck girls :fingerscrossed:

Well I told DF and he's pretty much 'yeah ok but how about we get a blood test before we get ahead of ourselves' Which I can understand. So i'm off to the doctor's tomorrow :fingerscrossed:

I've done 3 tests and they have all come back positive, i'm off to the doctors today to get it confirmed though

I also did a pregnancy test today and it came back faint positive I did do a pregnancy test two weeks ago and it came back positive but then they started to go negative now i have a faint positive any thoughts anyone

As my doctor said - even a faint line means positive! You won't get any line at all if negative because the HCG hormone isn't in your blood unless your preggo. So it looks as though you're pregnant!! Congratulations!!! :yelclap:

It means that I still might be pregnant but there isn't enough HCG hormone to say I'm definitely pg :banghead: So i'm having another blood test on Monday so i'll have to wait until next Tuesday to get the results :banghead:

Caz - maybe you're only a few days pregnant because ( as I mentioned above) my hormone specialist told me that ANY level of HCG indicates pregnancy, even the most microscopic bit! :confused: We only have it when we're pregnant.
Good luck with the waiting. I'd be going out of my tree!! :yes:

I also had a blood test come back 'equivacal' whilst I was miscarrying and the stupid hospital were trying to tell me maybe I wasn't pregnant after I'd had my pregnancy confirmed by a GP.

After TTC for 1.5 years and the amount of times I was praying for even the faintest line to show up on my on my HPT's...........................I'd say you are pregnant
