Hi everyone,

Since our other thread was too big and had to be closed I thought i'd start us up a brand spanking new one. How is everyone? We're all good Abby's bump from our trip scare the other day is practically gone so that is making me feel a bit more at ease. I still just keep having flashbacks which are so awful!

Anyway best be off will BBL

Keara I think perhaps some threads were deleted and when that happens you post count will go down, I have lost 400 I think, just means you gotta chatter lots like me lol.

Well the weekend was excellent we got to Armidale in 7 hours stopped twice Eliza slept or just sat there and looked out the window she was SO good!! Usually takes us 5 hours to get there so we, were happy! Seeing DP's sister was great we get along really well and DP hung out with the BIL, Eliza had major stranger anxiety going on for the first day and if I was out of sight she was bawling, same with DP but a few times even he couldn't stop her screaming! by Sunday well I could of left her for two hours! She has 4 cousins and they loved her it was so, so nice to see her with them, the MIL was there as well driving EVEYONE mad there were a few fights with her and Dp and SIL lol and at one point I had to stay in one of the bedrooms as I was about to lose it and scream at her!!
One of their dogs got bitten we think by a black snake so hmm I think we can say it wasn't good poor thing the kids were upset :(

SIL was kinda sad as she think that will be the first and last time she'll see us before we go to the UK, but I had such a good time I'd like to go for Christmas we'll see!

Well I am still darn exhusted lol, DP and I really needed the break from the fast pace of Sydney I am real country girl so I was off early morning near the creek to listen to the Frogs sing and breath in the low clouds DP join me with E in her sling, we saw roo's and Black cockatoos was just sooo nice instead of friggen buildings, I think when we get back from the UK we'll buy a country property well that's our dream!

I have updated Eliza's website with pictures :D

I all, just poppin in to say hi and let ya'll know I'm still alive!! lol

I didn't end up doing all of my last shift at work, was just too much and I nearly passed out:eek: wasn't good.

I can't wait for the w/end we aRE going to Foster!!! Our FIRST family holiday! I can't believe we have never been on a holiday!
We are just going for 4 days but hey, that's long enough to spend with the OUT-laws. (yeah, we are staying in a holiday house with them)

Oh and yesterday we got a new car!!!!!!
One with a HUUUUUUUUGE boot! We did a straight swap for our car, it's a ford futura 2001 only 88,000 kms on it!!!! We swapped it for our 99 Honda CR-V. I am sooooo happy now. We have a car to take all our stuff now for our holiday!!!!

Kailah is saying DADDA now ALLL the time! DH loves it! But more importantly she has been saying MUM for alot longer...he he he! This morning she said BUBBA a few times too! Very exciting. She has a really cute little voice. She has fallen asleep on the floor playing at this very moment... little angel:kiss: .
She is trying sooo hard to crawl, she gets her knees up under her but can't figure out what to do with her arms. She looks like she is trying to crawl with her bottom half and the top half looks like she is trying to swim:confused: very funny, but she gets really frustrated that she can't do it! She digs her toes into the ground and pushes so she moves just a little bit, but somehow she moves further backwards than forwards:confused: but still very cute and very funny!

glad you had a great weekend nat, its always gerat to see the interaction between cousins/friends etc!!

Hope you have a good weekend away too kris...

Well finished work - just popped in home to drop some meat off and then off to pick the kids up - I really really miss my little lily so bloody much its not funny!! Shes really pulling her legs under herself when she is on her belly but I still think it will be a while before she is crawling, so I am pretty pleased about that...lol

well gotta run and should BBl, if I dont crash and burn!!!

Way to go on the car Kris that's awesome swap!! Have a fantastic weekend away, DP and I have both said we are going to do it more often Eliza was fine with it all!

Gidday Mamas :D

I'm feeling as flat as a s*!# carters hat lately. Not sure why. Just generally feeling low. There really aren't enough hours in my day for me to feel like I'm on top of everything. My PC is slow and buggered as well which means having to cart it off for a service. I can't be without internet access  !!

Thomas is sleeping longer, playing more happily on the floor for longer amounts of time, and generally growing way too fast. No sign of any toofy pegs yet, but he has some nice lumps where his bottom two are.

Anyways must go, children are fighting...

Gee i leave you guys alone for a few days and you chat too much lmao. I thought that was so funny when i opened it up lol. Got a good giggle out of it!

Well we are back home now anyways, as much as i hate this town, it is so good to be back in my own house with my own things and know that i dont have to do it all again until christmas!! It sucks living so far from all my friends and family... thinking about moving back down there... but not sure yet. I think i am a bit depressed at the moment so will wait and see when i get a little cheerier.

I am starting a diet thing tomorrow. I dont look much bigger but i have so much fat!!!!! (TMI alert) i went walking around brissy yesterday in a skirt, and my thighs are so chaffed, it looks like i have a massive bruise on each leg! It is soooo gross, i just feel so bloody fat it isn't funny!! But what i dont understand is that i still fit into a size 12 and i dont bust over the sides or anything, so why the hell are my legs chaffed! Grrrr... well anyways i am gonna eat healthy food and i am gonna rent an exercise bike and try and get fit. Not into gyms dont like the idea of people watching me lol. If anyone has any suggestions on how to loose weight from belly and legs PLEASE let me know!!! And if anyone knows any way to loose weight from there and still keep my bum i will be forever thankful!!!!! My mother (who is a size 8!) has a bigger bum then me :crying: and i wanna keep it!!

Just a warning - dont leave your kids unsupervised with teething rusks!!! Luckily i was sitting next to cooper while he was munching away on his rusk, but eh started to choke and i couldnt reach the little chunk with my finger so i had to pound his back to get it to pop out! It was so scary, and the other 6 people sitting at the same table didnt even notice that i was freaking out and bashing my child!!!! But anyways, just watch them all the time, god only knows what would have happened if i didnt notice!!

Kate - that sounds horrible for you with what you went through with Abby, it is so hard to see them in pain, but it is totally not your fault!!! No one ever falls over on purpose, so please dont blame yourself! :hugs:

It was so hard being down visiting this time, the couple we sayed with are due to have their first baby in April, it just reminds me that i wont be going through it again for a long time if ever. I would so love to have a FAMILY, not what i have now. It is just so depressing!! Hopefully there is someone out there who will love coop and me for who we are and not be a complete @ss like the other type of man i tend to date!

Oh well i better go, have had my little whinge for now i guess! but will BBL when i am not so self obsessed. Sorry guys!!

OK we just had a full scale Tantrum it was manic! I bought her a lil soft bath toy and she loves it, well tonight I took it off her she screamed out of the bath seat into her towel still screaming legs kicking generally thrashing around, i got the toy she laughed and sucked on it, then I got her dry and dressed with the wet toy  then we took it back to the bathroom and I prised it out of her hands and we put it down and said goodnight to it for about 5 minutes she was watching it the WHOLE time lol

Man I think I'll buy another one for her to hold once she's out of the bath as it's fabric it was soaking lol
The tantrums are pretty crazy I hate to imagine what god has in store for me when she's 2!!

Niss I am sure one day you'll meet a nice dude who loves you for you and Cooper and you'll be happy, I am glad you had a good time, I know what you mean about being closer to family in some ways, best way to lose weight just eat less of what you eat smaller meals etc walking is fantastic for losing weight don't bother with the bike you'll have to go nuts on it to make a difference resitant training is great as well... so is yoga :D

Nissa, you WILL meet someone and he will be perfect! I met DH when Emy was 5 months old. I thought I was NEVER gonna meet someone, being a mum and especially of a child with a disability, but I did, and he loves Emily as much as he loves Kailah. They are BOTH his girls, there is no difference to him.
And about the weight, try pilates too, that's how I toned myself (before having Kailah:rolleyes: ) but I need to start it up again, just gotta get this stupid uterus sorted out.

Nat~ WOW! she IS starting early isn't she?!! Kailah hasn't had a tanty .... yet... but I thought it was near impossible to start this early! Sounds like she's going to be a real little 'PRINCESS'...lol

Just came to check in, girls went to bed early tonight, we spent a few hours at my mum's making more slings and my mum wore them out.

I hope tomorrow is a better day, I've had a terrible headache all flippin day!

Just thought I'd pop in quickly. Little miss and me are currently in Hervey Bay Queensland visiting some good friends. Its so nice to get away from everything and everyone I must admit. Though it does make me wonder what it would be like to have a special someone in my life again that can help me through things. One day . .one day . .the dream shall continue.

Im looking forward to another sydney meet and can't wait. Im also excited cause a few days after I leave my friends from here and heading down to sydney. So I get to show them the sites.

Matilda has had so many first since wednesday when we got here. She's had :

first plane trip - first time in a kiddies swimming pool - first birthday party - first time visiting the beach so that means first sand and water encounter. its been awesome. she loves the sand. wasnt so sure about the water though.

Talk soooooooooooon!

Hey everyone,

Nat-Abby is a big tantrum thrower too! What have we got ourselves in for!! Abby throws the cutest (for now) tantrums when she wants something but can't have it and when I take something from her. It is cue and amusing now but I know that in a little while i will not be so cute anymore. How's TTC going? We tested today and i was a BFN. I was shocked because I feel pregnant as weird as that sounds. And I bought some OPK's today and it's showing that we are coming into peak fertility time in the next few days. DH hates the OPK idea because he'd rather be able to BD every day or every second day instead of me now having the ability to turn around and say 'no honey sorry OPK says no"

Krissy-It's great to hear that you and Matilda are having such a great time-Abby got her first time at the beach with her feet in the sand on our honeymoon and she loved it. She just wanted to stomp her feet in the puddles her feet created. So cute!

Nissa-I'm sure you will find a lovely guy some day soon! In the mean time we're all here for you! I kmnow it's not the same though but we're here!

I'm at work for the school holidays! First day back today and it was terrible! Ii got lumped with so much work that should have been done beforehand! :banghead: Was ready to walk out but thankfully the day is over and tomorrow will be a beer day-if I think positively it will happen.

I missed Abigail so much and when I got home I just wanted to hold her and cry. My mother is a teacher so is looking after her for me. Mind you she is pushing me out the door and I have no doubt she would have wanted to look after Abigail even if I wasnt working. I was tossing up walking out today and simply saying I cant do it I want to be home with Abigail but the extra money coming up to christmas lured me to stay.

Im not sure if I'll BBL but take care everyone

ohh Krisseh how nice!!! I love all those "firsts" :D Enjoy yourself it's lovely there!

Kate we're just taking TTC as a matter of it happens when it happens, my DP is rather keen on it and reminds me every 2nd day and then is constantly asking if I am preg yet lol

Oh shame... that was such a good thread... so many memories!

Well my Laura has a bad cold :crying: and I think it's time to take her to the doc because this morning there was blood in her snot!! (sorry TMI)
She has had a string of sleepless nights despite her days being really good... she just can't shake this runny nose!

Here's where she's at:
Crawling: no, but starting to make small moves... so far she's not frustrated.
Sitting: yep, six six months of age
Solids: yep, since 5 months... now has 3 meals a day! Also loves mummy's cooking... only tried a few bought ones when they were on special and she turned her nose up!

Niss, Nat, Krissy.... glad you enjoyed a getaway (love the pics Nat)! I can't wait for Xmas hols to visit my family. We are also thinking of going to Hervey Bay as my grandparents live there. I have found a great walker for Laura for a Christmas present... it's one you push and the front section (with all the cool lights, buttons, whistles, etc) comes off so you can lay it on the floor for them to play with before they are walking. Now I'm just waiting for a sale so I can get it at a reduced price!

Kate I have been working one day a week for a while now and I fly out the door as soon as I can to try and get home before Laura goes to bed... it's awful how much I miss her! I am actually having nightmares about work... I'm supposed to go back three days a week this month (still waiting on a child care place first) but I am DREADING it!

Is still asleep now, I am knackard so might join her
I look forward to Eliza crawling but at the same time it means I can't just put her down and hope she'll be in the same spot so I am happy for it to take ages lol

Lima beans/Apple/Pear - sounds interesting Nat... Gave Matthias spinach/parsnip/pumpkin today. It looks gross but it tastes pretty good. My sister was surprised. She said and you didn't put any herbs, salt or sugar. I thought it'd be really bland but it's nice. I've been told parsnip is a really popular vege with the bubs.

Keara, did you have to do anything to get Thomas to sleep longer? Matthias is still only sleeping 3-4 hours stretches at night. We moved him to his own room on Monday, thinkin it could be us that wake him. Nope. At least I'm sleeping better though. After midnight he often wouldn't go back to his cot and would end up sleeping with me. At least being in his own room he can learn to self settle better.

Kate, congrats on getting married and I'm glad it was a beautiful day and great honeymoon even if it was short. And I know how you feel about Abby. I've accidently bumped Matthias' head a couple of times getting out of the back of my car. I hate that I have a two door. After the first time I try to be so careful now but the second time my foot caught on the seat belt and I half fell. I'm lucky he's got a head like a coconut. He headbutted me on the weekend and I was the one that got injured with a bruised lip. :P Accidents happen, don't be too hard on yourself.

Nissa, both our boys look like little men not babies anymore. Matthias is a tank. DH weighed him yesterday and he's 11.2kg. I knew he was heavy but even I was surprised. He hasn't even really taken to soilds yet. It's so hot today that he's only in a nappy and bodysuit. Gee they grow so fast. I can't believe how often we're running out of clothes.

Kris, what a guy. I assumed that Kailah and Emy had the same dad. I'm so glad that you were blessed with a man that both his girls equally. And I was worried that you weren't going to visit anymore when I read the old thread. I'm glad our group isn't the one that you were referring to and it was bubhub in general.

Matthias can sit on his own and can crawl backwards. He can go 360 but he hasn't got his knees up yet so he can go forward. He started solids again three weeks ago after we started him early at 5 and a half months and had to stop because of the ezcema. He rocks like Eliza did too Nat. I just put a v pillow behind him on the floor if he decides to throw himself backward when he rocks to hard. He does it when he gets excited. More when he first stated to sit by himself. But I still kept it there just incase.
With food he eats 2-3 times a day. 1-2 tablespoons. He really isn't that interested. It's a big struggle. He prefers just to nurse. I've started offering food before BM but as a friend suggested, he could be outsmarting me and thinking well if I hold out long enough mum's going to get frustrated and I'll eventually get what I want. Oh and thanks for the reminder Keara. No teeth but plenty of drool (soaks his clothes all the time), red cheeks, cranky pants and bumpy gums.

Nissa, after reading about the disappearing thread - it prompted me to copy my birth story too. It's the only written account I have of it. Not that I'm likely to forget anytime soon. Haha.

Now hopefully it won't be weeks again before I can check in. :( It's so hectic at work now. Between wrestling with solids, entertaining the monkey and juggling paperwork, I have no time for anything else.

KIMMY!! Well it's so great to hear from you, and even if you can only pop in once in a while, it's good to catch up with your news and to hear about Matthias. :yelclap:

Well, I took Laura to the doctor and my suspicions were confirmed - she has an ear infection and has to go on antibiotics! :crying: I feel like a bad mother - how did she get sick in the first place? No wonder she has been screaming every night - I didn't know that their ears hurt more when they are laying down, so of course, night time in the cot was awful for her! I need to do this ---> :banghead: At least I did give her panadol every night because I was afraid she was getting a fever.... so I hope that helped a little bit. Despite this, she has been a darling today - giggle pot to everyone at the doctors and then we watched Bananas in Pyjamas and she thought it was hilarious! Nat, I'm wishing I had boob juice to give her.

I forgot to mention that Laura has no teeth yet either. And Kimmy, your quote "Gee they grow fast" - not in our house! Laura was weighed today - 6.4kg! She is still a little angel. Has only put on about 300g in two months and some of her outfits are 000.
She is the oldest bub in our mum's group, but also the smallest! Doctor isn't concerned though... she is eating like a horse and burning it up very fast!

Kimmy, great to hear from you.
You too Shannon.
Don't be disheartened by Laura's size. My Emy was tiny forever! She was really chubby but still tiny! Was funny! I looked at Em's blue book and compaired it with Kailah's and Em was p months before she was the weight of Kailah but was heaps shorter too.
I got Kailah weighed this morning and she hasn't put on any weight in a while. I am not worried as she iseating and drinking fine and is happy and alert.
Kailah has 2 teeth (forgot to add, thanks for reminding me Shannon) I think some more are on their way... not sure.

Kailah has been so chatty today. Lots of mumm mum muma, and dad dad dad, and a few bubba's too.
She has a really cute squeeky voice! Emily has always had a low voice so it is nice to have a 'girly' bubba voice around the place..lol

Best be off and start the dinners!
Lamb, rosemary, and fetta rissoles and some vegatable rissotto...mmmmm:chef:

Is Abby eating solids: Has been since 4 and a half monhs
We have signs of toothy pegs but nothing has come through yet
I think Abby may have an ear infection my mum says that she has been pulling at her ears and sticking her fingers in her ears all day. She did it on te way home and cried so i'm a bit worried

lol.... Kate, I am such a lazy cook.
I make up double the amount and freeze half of it so I only have to cook for half the week! I hate having the same thing 2 nights in a row, so when I make something yummy like risotto or even less yummy- spag bol-(I only freeze the sauce and mince) I freeze half of it and have it another night! My freezer now has sag bol, risotto, curried chicken, beef caserole, I think there is devilled sausages with mash in there some where too!

Well, I saw red this afternoon! Emily tipped over (on purpose) a vase, yes of course it had flowers AND water in it! I sent her to her room for 5 minutes while
I soaked the water out of the carpet!!! MAN! Can she leave nothing alone!!!!!??????! ok... count to ten!..lol.
I pruned my lavendar 'bush' today so I have a big vase full of it! Smells soooo gooood! I have some carnations and other flowers (can't remember thier names but they are pretty) in another vase (the one the 'ANGEL' tipped over.

I am getting nervous and excited about our family holiday. Nervous that Emily won't cope with the change and excited to get away from everything for a while.

I hope tomorrow is a better day for all. Seems like we all sound a little flat today.

I am feeling very emotional today, a girl I met via an American forum is pregnant with #2 she's a march mummy too, I am really happy for her but at the same time I am just so desperate to be pregnant again it would seem, I didn't realise how much until she told me, it's so silly I should just be happy I have a healthy happy baby and be content but I so,so want another DP every single day talks about baby #2 in someway or another maybe it's getting to me lol, I know it will happen when it happens but yanno lol AF is still on holidays....never thought i'd say this but I wish she'd come back at least then we could plan a little better or have an idea..ahh I am just rambling

Have a good day everyone glorious weather here today:yelclap:

:hugs: Nat.

Are you feeding much during the night? With my first DD AF returned at around 7 months, after I had ceased night feeds for a while. I even felt the pain on one side as the egg was getting ready to pop! Are you ready to finish your feeding relationship with Eliza? When you do get preggie your milk will be gone by 12 weeks, she can still comfort feed- my DD did.
I hope it all happens soon for you!

Kimmy, Re Thomas sleeping longer, it's just a maturity thing. I've done nothing special to nuture it.... We are co-sleepers so there's no special method- just luck. Babies are all different, a lot of factors go into why one sleeps all night and another wakes hourly. Cold comfort to those of us with bubs clocking up frequent waker points I know. I hope you start getting more sleep soon.

Kris dinner sounds yummy at your place..I've been cooking loads of boring dinners with endless salads- the kids love salad and hate hot veges. If only I could sit them down to rissotto!

Gotta run

Shannon, I would love to have a baby that looks and feels like a baby. Nursing Matthias feels like nursing a 18month old. Not that I know how that would feel but I know how it looks to other people. My MIL has started up again with the anti-BM. "That kid is still drinking from you? He's too big." Sometimes the ILs make my blood boil and my head spin. Just the other day my FIL said, "He's not standing up yet?" He's only 7 months for cryin out loud! At least now that I bring the jolly jumper to work everyday he's quietened down on the standing subject. His seeing him jumping seems to have solved whatever crisis he'd formulated about Matthias' development. All the girls in my mother's group are a lot smaller than the boys. Most of the boys are as long or a couple cms shorter (1-2) than Matthias, but none of them are his weight. I think he's just densely boned, because other than his tanky legs, he really doesn't have much too him. The girls are adorable. They're well proportioned and a nice weight to cuddle. Picking up Matthias at one in the morning, I'm used to but DH nearly dropped him.

I hope Laura gets better soon. How could you know since she's never had an ear infection before. And it's not as though they can communicate well. We had to give Matthias antibiotics when he got a skin infection. He was so good. Just make sure you give it to her 1ml at a time. I listened to DH's instructions (silly mummy, what does Daddy really know about baby, aside from nappy changing and cuddling to sleep?) and "give it to him quick." Most of it ended up running down his face and neck.

Speaking of Rosemary, Kris. I tried making sweetpotato and rosemary soup for the first time. It was actually really nice. Never put fruit in a soup before. The recipe has apples in it. I'm glad you were able to take Emily's misbehaving in your stride. A friend of mine said there's more between the twos and teens. Her two take turns. Every couple months on of them's the angel and the other grows horns and a tail. What she said actually gave me something to think about. It's nice when people give you another angle to look at a situation. She said at least they're both not naughty at the same time. I'm lucky, Matthias hasn't started tantrums yet. There are babies in our group that do. And you know it's a put on because as soon as they get what they want they're all smiles.

I haven't seen Kristy in awhile. Hope all is well.

Kate, I just noticed your avatar line. Abigail's 24hr slave! I think Matthias owns me too. He certainly thinks mummy's bbs belong to him.

Nat, my friend who had trouble conceiving her first swears by Vitamin E tablets. But I think she has trouble absorbing fat and probably had a deficiency. I know how you feel. I think ever since I realized I wasn't having a boy, I've been thinking about a little girl. When my friend told me she was having a girl, she's five months along now, I was really happy for her but secretly a bit envious and sad. I want to be pregnant again and have a little girl.

Shannon, I hope I have a little girl! I want to be able to baby and cuddle for as long as possible and dress her in dainty little dresses and outfits.

Keara, I hope it's just a phase. Last night he went five hours and then four hours so I'm getting more sleep. I dreamt and remembered dreaming for the first time in months. I guess it's the first time I've had REM for awhile. I think moving him was a good idea. It has only been three nights so far :fingerscrossed: I hope the sleep pattern continues to improve.

On a strange note, part of my dream was AF returning with vengence. I have been having cramp-type pains the last couple days...

Keara most nights she wakes up once for a 10 minute feed that's all on the growth spurt weeks she can wake up to every 2 hours but that's not very often she has 6-7 feeds a day now some days only 5

I am NOT ready to stop breastfeeding at all I was saying this to my SIL she tandem fed her children her milk never went away, I have never heard of it going away actually!

I know it will happen when it's meant to but sheshh lol

I am a moody cow today fed up with simple folk, despite being one myself I often find myself biting my tongue when people say the most stupid things, I wonder where common sense went! Maybe I am just getting old DP tells me somedays he wonders if I am 29 or 45 lol

I tandem fed for a whilke too, and while your milk doesn't literally go away it does turn back to colostrum around that 12 week mark. Or it did for me and a couple of other preggie and feeding mamas I know... I would have lurved to have still had bucket loads-o-milk while preggers, it keeps my bosoms noice and perky LOL.

IKWYM about simple folk... I've come to the conclusion that nuff nuffs are an essential part of our 'ecosystem'.... We can't all be the sharpest tool in the shed. I try to abstain from watching things like ACA- I end up raving... they had some woman bleating about her poor son being a pc game addict-:banghead: Gosh, was it unpreventable? Who facilitated such an evil in this young mans life? Then you've got yer educated nuff nuffs who spout all kinds of utter tripe and think their academic background backs up their subjective rantings!

At a recent party some old bugger told me I should put Tommo (gotta say it in your bestest ocker voice- he got the nickname by a pair of work type overalls he wears- but I digress!) in his pram to sleep- whilst he was happy nodding off in the sling! I just looked at her and said, "what pram?"

Anyway :hugs: from one cranky old fart to another.

OK time for a rant... speaking of IDIOTS and all... My internet, BROADBAND internet hasnt been working for the past two days and i am very cranky about that let me tell ya!!!

I called the hospital today to find out the results of coops heal ***** test and find out what blood type he is, and they told me they dont have them and we only get told if there is something wrong. It really ****es me off that i dont have access to my own sons blooy test results, she wouldnt even tell me who i could contact or what place did the test so i could try them! Well apart from being in brisbane SOMEWHERE grrrrrrrr.

Then yesterday i cancelled an order through the hmv website cuz i have found the dvd that they had taken nearly two months to restock. I got an email at 11.22am telling me the order had been cancelled and that i will not be charged, then i got another email at 5 something telling me that the order was being shipping and my credit card has been charged

Some people are just morons i tell ya!!!

I think coop is getting his top two teeth at the mo... his bottom two are through, but he keeps grabbing his ears and dribbling and all the rest of it and is very clingy! Poor little guy.

I had never really noticed how loud cooper is, yesterday i went to kmart with my mum and she went back to the front of the shop to get a trolley and me and coop were at the back of the shop and mum could hear him all the way!!!! All happy noises tho, i could understand hearing him cry but not being chirpy lol.

Anyways gotta run gotta cook dinner! Sorry about the lack of personals but i have no idea about how long my net will stay on for so i thought i would just get that off my chest. but i will read over everything after dinner and respond! Hope everyone is well!!

Shannon, I hope I have a little girl! I want to be able to baby and cuddle for as long as possible and dress her in dainty little dresses and outfits.

Kimmy, it will happen one day... just be patient - you too, Nat! I am envious of both of you being able to still breastfeed. How special that must be now that they are much more aware of us at this age... I don't blame you for not wanting to wean yet. I wish I could still breastfeed. Kimmy, I don't think Matthias looks big at all in your avatar, and like you said, boys always seem to be bigger than girls - it's the same in my mum's group as well.

Laura has definitely improved in the last day thank goodness and you won't believe this but this morning when I went to give her the antibiotics, she opened her mouth like she couldn't wait! Same thing happened at lunch time and dinner time and she even had that look that said "is that all I get?"

Think I should get onto this MSN thing since I'm on the computer all the time. Will let you know when I've signed up.

Kris, you sound like such a great cook - you've gotta share some recipes!

Good luck Amy with your test results! :fingerscrossed:
Kate, hope your back gets better soon.

Sorry who I have missed... forgot already I'm so tired. Night, night.

I just went to a new Aldi store me....what a total waste of time, the stuff in there is sh!t and the veggies were no cheaper or any better than our coles same goes for the meat AND don't even give you a bag to put your shopping in I was standing at the end of the counter thinking why isn't she putting it in a bag....then I looked at everyone elses trolleys and no one had bags....how the **** are you meant to carry everything...I was fuming I am never ever going to an Aldi store ever again!!!!

What annoys me mostly is I now still have to go to coles

I'll go next week if I go today I might kill someone!

Amy glad to see you back I was going to ask where you where today lol I am sorry to hear you have a kidney infection not good I hope that's what caused you to lose weight and nothing else and they fix you up soon!!! The offer of some fat is still going should you want it :D

OK off to check my emails dunno why no one ever sends me any lol

~Kimmy~
06-10-2006, 10:13
Amy, ouchie. I hope you get better soon. I was lovely to hear from you. Even if it was a quick note. I don't get a lot of time on the net but I'm glad I try to drop by everyday. Not only does it make it easier to reply, I don't fall way behind and have heaps to read. :)

Shannon, I haven't updated my avatar in awhile. That picture is about two months old. Although, he's not really much bigger than most boys we've met. He's just got a big boned body and he's heavy.

Nat, it's a shame your ALDI wasn't great. I love ALDI. I buy veges, frozen goods, meat, nappies, wipes and pasta supplies there. BTW for mums who by Mamia. They've revamped the nappies. The pictures are different, the tabs are different and the material feels softer inside. And the leak guards have improved. ALDI nappies were good before but I think the change was for the better. Might be trying to keep up with the Huggies improvements. Haven't tried the new Huggies yet.

Nissa, if you find out the number or who to talk to I'd like to know so I can get Matthias' blood type.

Hi girls,
just a quick post in between cleaning and packing for our holiday:smiliedance:

Kailah is now rolling form tummy to back both ways all the time. Still trying to crawl with much frustration.
Emily is being a horror for me while I am trying to get things done.

Did I mention that I scored another casual job???
Well, it working with the lady who does our chair covers for wedding etc at the club, he mum and dad are friends with IL's and it's all cash in hand. She said min $100 a day and average of 6 hours work! So now I have the girls, the house, the club, the slings, and the chair covers! But it's all money that we DESPERATELY need!

Might be back later, but if I'm not I won't be on till wednesday!

Have a great holiday Kris. I need a holiday too, but won't be getting one any time soon  DH and I have been sick the last 2 days, and I am still not 100% so not feeling like catching up on the housework/washing/ironing etc etc.... Catching up on the posts here was hard enough

Carla had her first solids last nite - banana cereal with EBM, she took only a teaspoon, and did not look impressed, so maybe we try again later. She can roll front to back and back to front now, but sometimes looks shocked when it happens!! No where near crawling, but if lying on her back she pushes with her feet and goes under the couch or up the hallway!! I feel sorry for her as she gets so frustrated wanting to follow Courtney and Christian everywhere.

I hope everyone gets in on the card swap thing, you guys are the only ones I will do cards for at Christmas I think. Last year I was sick with the pregnancy and didn't do them - sent emails to people instead - and I got so few cards back. What's with only sending cards if you get one back ??? I am talking about family, so they knew I wasn't well! Just rude I suppose.

Hope you all have a good weekend. We are going to a 40th birthday at a gallery tomorrow, and Sunday will be a quiet day :yelclap:

hey everyone!

Kris i hope you are having a great weekend!!!

Gee it is really quite in here today..... well tonight lol

Cooper is now officially sitting up on his own. When did everyone start leaving them alone? I just cant seem to do it, i am too paranoid to leave him in case he goes over and hits his head or something, he has enough pain there with his toofy pegs. OK by alone i mean not within reach, not like going into town while he sits alone in the lounge room lmao.

I think coops right top tooth has come through, making a total of three... I am not definate cuz the other one is coming through as well and it is too sorein there for him to let me feel it or look properly. But his grandma felt what she thought was a tooth as well so hopefully i haven't lost the plot!!

Coop has also started laughing and smiling at objects instead of just at me or other people. He will sit there and just laugh which is a bit weird, but so funny and cute!

There is something i was meaning to write in here and have been meaning to for a few days but whenever i go to write it my internet has cut out... hmm i guess i will come back when i remember if the net is working. Telstra told me that they should know what is wrong with it by monday, then i guess it will take another week for them to actually fix the problem...

I am in such a chatty mood!! If only i had something to say!! Oh that reminds me i need to add new photos to coops website!! Will do that right NOW!

BBL if anyone shows up lol

Hi Guys,

How are we all? i am in a state of haze as I cannot believe Abby is 7 months old already:eek: next thing I know I will turn around and she will be finising high school! :crying: where does the time go? Lucky i've already started planning her 1st birthday/christening party!

For any of you who looked at my SIL issue thread I had another night with an incident so this week has been a total write off! :banghead: you can't choose your friends!

Nat-I knw what you mean with the clinginess. We went to a cousins 21st on sat night and Abby howled if she was given to anyone but me (even DH!) It got to the point where I gave her o her grandma and bolted so I could go to the toilet as I was busting and she cried the whole time. i loved it except or that part. I think a lot of Abby's clinginess is because i've been workign all week and havent seen her all day every day. It's going to be hard and heart breaking tomorrow morning when i go again.

Anyway I will be back later probably.

Take care everyone!

Ah Kate, I did not read your thread, but will have a look after this! I have SIL issues too - very annoying as my DH and his brother are very close and we see the family A LOT.

Nat, hope Eliza gives you some peace soon, I sometimes like it when Carla is clingy and only wants me - it inflates my sense of self-importance LOL but when you are busy trying to get things done it's a pain in the butt.

Nissa, 3 teeth for Coop already! He is a little champ. Carla has none and no sign of any either. I don't expect dramas with teething though, never had any with the other kids.

Well we had such a great weekend. Keara got me this gorgeous red dress (Fresh Mums - with nursing access) and it was so comfortable. I haven't had any compliments on my appearance lately, but got lots on Saturday, and I was feeling really good too. Thanks Keara! The party we went to was a 40th b'day at an outdoor sculpture gallery. The kids had an absolute ball and it was perfect weather for it. All I needed was a glass of wine but I didn't indulge.

Hope everyone else is well and have a good week!!!

I get today and tomorrow off then start on wednesday!!! Its just a spew at what I i will be forking out for child care (over $400) a week...makes me think I will open my own centre up ine day, ha ha

Well you all talk about your bubs sitting for 5mins or so....well you sit lily up on the floor and i will sit there to with my arms behind here and she does not even do it for 1second...lol, Ah well - one day! She is getting so cheeky though - she will do this horrid fake scream (that sounds like murder) and I will go to her and she starts giggling, I also brought her a new rattle thing that has heaps of keys on it and if I take it off her or she drops it - well thats it, tanty galore!!! Well I am off to clean this house then wiil BBL -hope you are allw ell!!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend, I certainly did. Just wish the weather would be more consistent... hot one day, cold the next is not fun.

I made DD what she calls a 'sunshine' dress on the weekend- you can see it in our photos section at the website ( bit blurry sorry). I'm having so much fun with this sewing! I just need more arms and I'll be right.

Kate sorry to hear about your inlaw troubles :hugs:

I'm off to hang out some washing- DS had a noice big vomit from the top bunk all over the place last night- thank goodness I have loads of pretty essential oils to get rid of the stench.

I have been offline since about 2 minutes after my last post, my internet still isnt working, but i have borrowed a friends connection thing so am only on for a little while...

Coop sat up the whole time i was cooking dinner last night and then when i came back in and ate dinner!! It was ages!!! It was funny tho cuz everytime he would reach for something i would drop my food and go to stop him falling over and he would correct himself!! His grandma was the same when i was cooking but he just kept righting himself! I still cant believe how long he stayed upright for!!! But on the downside, he gets cranky now if he has to just lay there

I keep putting him on all fours in the crawling position, he just sits there and rocks back and forward and giggles then dives onto his belly and giggles some more, it is sooo funny! He is doing more of a belly laugh now, i love it!!!

Kate, try not to take the issues with your SIL to heart, she is probably just jealous of your wonderful family. Hopefully she will get over it soon!

Am still not sure if coop has that third tooth through... it is really sore in there but yet he still manages to chomp down on my finger... i think it hurts me more then him lol

Keara - just the thought of vomit spraying from the top bunk... :barf: i feel sorry for ya lol!!!!!!!

It is crazy that the babies are nearly 7 months! I cant believe how fast it has all gone!!! I dont want him to grow up, i just want him to be my little baby forever!!! A;tho i will behappier when he can move around so he stops getting so frustrated!!!

OK i should go i have rambled on enough!!! will speak to you all later, hopefully with my own internet if telstra ever pulls their finger out... gee i am just sooooo happy i changed to bigpond NOT

Hi everyone,

just need to have a little sort of whinge. As you know i have had many extended famliy issues of late. To top that off i'm back at work missing abby like crzy for another week and DH and I havent stopped argueing for the last 3 weeks. It is all just starting to get to me a bit. I feel like I can do no right and dont know where to turn or what to do. I feel like im muddling my way through everything right now and not doing anything right by anyone not even myself! I just want to cry but cant. i have been at the hospital all day with DH because (trying to not have TMI) he is bleeding from somewhere he shouldnt be and he is bleeding a lot. We were there for 7 hours and they sent us home with a referral for a colonoscopy saying it could be one of 3 things including bowel cancer which is made more of an option as DH has a family history of it. We both doubt very much this could be it but it got me thinking. I don't know if I am stong enough to handle any more. On top of that I have the added stress of MIL wanting to put DH on anti depressants and constantly being on my back to do everything which i end up doing to keep the peace. I just feel like i have the weight of the world on my shoulders and find myself praying for life to jus tstop throwing us curveballs and slow down and let us have a fleeting moment of peace, quiet and happiness before hrowing s the next obstacle.

Sorry if that was a bit much and a bit depressive. I cant talk o DH about it because he will clam up and not talk to me about anything from now on if he knows it gets to me.

Will write more later when im in a good mood

Hope all is well

Kate xoxo

Kate :hugs: I hope your DH is OK and it's nothing serious, i'd be telling the MIL where to go, you and DH just got married you don't need the pressure of her. I hope you and hubby sort things out soon.

Well E only woke twice last night bliss!! Breastfeeding has become very painful the last few days hmm how can I describe it like an aching, you know when you ache from the flu, well my boobs feel like that, not tear worthy but at times I am deep breathing through her feeds! I am well otherwise!

Got some film to take to the lab today it's B/W I would develop it myself but I just know when I set everything up Eliza will wake up! I can't wait to see them we took them with a fancy lens :D

Hi ladies... so much has happened at our house in the past 48 hours!

As you might recall Laura got a bad cold last week and then an ear infection. Over the weekend I thought she was getting better so I went to work yesterday and dropped her off at day care. At around 11am the rang to say she was really sick. She went downhill really fast, vomited up her entire bottle, and was as white as a ghost. She then got a raging temperature. By the early evening we ended up having to take her to hospital because I couldn't get her temperature down. The hospital staff were really good but we had to stay for quite a while because they didn't want to let her go until her temp was back to normal. So we didn't get home until about 12.30am and then I had a struggle trying to get her to go to sleep - I think I crawled into bed at almost 2am feeling like a zombie! We haven't had a decent night's sleep in so long. Sunday night (the night before work!) was awful. I got about three hours sleep all up. Her sleep problems are so much worse when she is sick.
Since we were at the hospital all night, I didn't get to take my meds on time so then my joints flared up during the night really bad and the pain was dreadful. Usually I'd ask DH to take over and look after Laura but he has come down with the flu as well!! So I had to take a sick husband and sick baby to the doctor this morning and both are on antibiotics, etc. The doc said DH is on the verge of getting bronchitis. I just hope I don't catch it!
I'm now nursing both of them at home even though I am sooooo tired I could fall asleep standing up if I had to! I know DH is really sick because it was his idea to go to the doctor (he hates going to the doctor normally).

Would love to reply to everyone's news, but I am falling asleep as I type so I really need to watch my eyelids for a while. BBL I promise.

10-10-2006, 16:21
Ooh Nat, tingly and achey boobs may mean you're expecting again  :fingerscrossed: Um what's a Craiglist??

Kate, sorry to hear you have so much to deal with at the moment, and hope your DH gets a positive prognosis.

Shannon, hope your DH and Laura feel heaps better soon too.

Keara, vomit from the top bunk! omg, it's luverly hey? We had a vomit incident with DS a week ago too - all over his bed, then put him in DD's bed (as she was at mum's) and he spewed in there too. Aaarghh...

Flo, good luck with the job. at the cost of child care though.

We are all traveling along well. Carla is also sitting alone for longer periods, but always surrounded by pillows. She is growing too fast for me. We have stacks of photos, but only got her on video for the first time this week :o

My SIL found out she is having another boy, so come March next year she'll have 2 boys and 2 girls - the eldest will be 4!!!!! Where is the crazy smilie???

OK time to cook dinner, bbl. xo

I stopped bf about 4 months ago i think and had a mini af (dont get me wrong i would love for that to be my normal af lol) but i just thought it was weird that it hasnt come back again... any way just curious about other ppl, wanna find out if i am a freak or not lol

Nat, if it isn't thrush ( which can also cause that kind of pain I hear).. then it sounds like preggy feeding ouchies to me! I had nine months of ouchy feeding, so glad that's over!

Well I just cleaned up :barf: Vomit, the sequel. This time staring DD number 2, in three seperate locations over the living room.... Very gushy so it spread noicely too. All I can say is lucky I've had years to get used to this or I would have joined in! In fact the very first bout of gastro eldest DD had was early in my second pregnancy  DH had to clean up after her as I was green just hearing her hurl!

MMMmmmmmmmmmm that was TMI eh? LOL

Why am I up so late? Best get to bed. Nigh nigh!

Pixie
11-10-2006, 04:44
Nothing like waking up and reading a :barf:story lol I hope your kids get better soon Keara!!

Ohh I forgot to answer Sally's Q on Craiglist it's a website for selling things! then you just pick Sydney and go for your life!http://sydney.craigslist.org/

Well I tested again this morning BFN, hmm Keara I might go to the DR and get checked out I don't want thrush! No signs of it with Eliza and the only symptom for me is the aching.

tis going to be a bwediful day here so I hopefully will get out and enjoy it!

*Sal*
11-10-2006, 08:44
LOL Nat - You sure that's the address??? It took me to a p*rn* site!!! What exactly are you selling? LMAO.

Hope it isn't thrush for you. My SIL had it and she says it was more like shooting pains not aching. Just ask Kimmy, she battled the thrush for a while with Matthias.

Nissa lucky you having no AF yet. I am BFeeding, so not sure how long it should take to return.

Keara, poor you and poor DD2. You do get used to cleaning up :barf: though don't you? Unfortunately, it's part of motherhood.

Can't wait to hear about Kris's holiday.

Maybe I should sell something else, might get a few bob....there again that would require effort on my part so I don't think I'll bother!
:D

Well we just got back from a hour long walk Eliza fell asleep in the stroller for the first time EVER and now we're off out again have some errands to do + is soooo nice out!

Hi Everyone,

Am just at work so a bit of a quick one just wanted to share with you all. As you know DH and I are TTC in the midst of everything going on. My LMP was 10th of Sept and the one before that was 16th of August so by rights this one was due on the 4th and still no signs of it not even cramps. My boobs are aching soooo badly and I dont breastfeed so it cant be anything to do with that. I went to the bubhub due date calculator and it says I should test on the 15th which is this sunday. sooooooooooooo as of this sunday i could be 4 weeks pregnant i think

Hi all!
Well, Laura is finally on the mend... much happier baby today and even hubby is doing better. It's so funny reading about all your lovely days of weather - it's like that here all the time! Except today where we have finally had rain. At last our garden can get a good drink! It's one of those lazy, stay in bed days.

Kate, I wanted to post earlier to say I am crossing fingers for your DH... hope it all goes well. You certainly don't want a health scare in the early days of marriage, not to mention parenthood! Hugs to you --> :hugs: And GOOD LUCK for your test on Sunday!!!!!! So exciting!!!!

I am getting so addicted to the net... I have found a game site with online games (just individual games, not interactive with other players) and I've found some really funny ones and very clever lateral thinking ones. They kept me up last night way too late playing Cake Mania! Love it! Gotta get help for this addiction....

Will
12-10-2006, 15:54
This quick reply thing is great!! but sucks cuz you cant use the little face dudes...

Oh well...

Kate - good luck on Sunday!!!!

My internet was playing up again today, i am sooo cranky!! Have only just gotten back online.... stupid thing...

My msn messenger email is jsmith_noosa@hotmail.com if anyone wants to chat!!!!!!

Better go check the emails and do the rounds lol

Those games are really addictive hey, i try to stay away from them now, but wanna go on cuz you reminded me of them lol

Anyways BBL

*Sal*
12-10-2006, 21:37
:fingerscrossed: for you Kate, hope you get your BFP :fingerscrossed:

I know what you mean Shannon about the online games. I used to play canasta a lot. Will try something new perhaps. They are so addictive, I agree with Nissa.

It's so muggy here, I hate this weather. Need to stay up late and wait for the cool change.

Carla is starting to propel herself forward now. She pushes with her feet and can move quite a distance. Don't know if I am happy about it or not - time to baby proof again. She has perpetually red elbows and knees now

Nat, how was the meet?

I have been meaning to ask everyone if your babies suck their thumbs or take a dummy, or neither? Carla used to like the dummy to fall asleep, but now sucks her thumb.

Foxymoron
12-10-2006, 21:56
Sal, Thomas sucks the imaginary booby... if he finds his hand that will do as well. No dummy but I did try!

Kate:fingerscrossed: hope you get your BFP!

Nissa I'll add you to msn when I get mine running again stoopid thing it is.

I'm a net addict too, only my addiction is ebay  My wardrobe has grown so much since Thomas was born!

I found a supplier of maternity bra clasps today, so I ordered some, now I can make maternity night gowns as well as regular pj's :D . I got a heap of cute tee shirts and stuff from expressiva and motherwear this week so I've barely had to expose ma flubbery belly once!

Must be orf, lots to do tomorrow... DD's berfday is on Saturday and I want to make the house look purty.

13-10-2006, 04:41
I love how you talk Keara I speak like that all the time so immature I love it :D

:fingerscrossed: KATE whooo how exciting!!!!

The meet up as good fun, very, very hot, Eliza showed them a small tanty and a few of the girls were  she dropped her toy and when I picked it up I didn't hand it to her straight away her arms where out and she started to pant and scream and cry lol so funny...THAT HAS GOT TO STOP!!!

Dummy/thumb---Eliza also sucks a imaginary boob in her sleep, during the day anything in reach is used for sucking lol

Ohh also where's Amy?? I hope you're OK Amy where are you these days? I hope the DR's appt went well

BBl!

Hey just a quick reply!!!!

Coop hated the dummy when i first tried it on him, but in the last month he is obsessed with it now!! He still sucks his thumb, but would rather a dummy... he chews it more then anything. Pushes the bottom of the dummy into his mouth as well... it is strange.

Am going away AGAIN, going to see coopers dad and then out to gladstone to stay with a friend and also go to a bubhub meet with her so that should be fun! Gee can you tell i hate living here?? It should be good to get cooper away from all this burning off, it is horrible, we have ash everywhere from them burning the cane. Coop has been coughing ever since they started!!!!! Am soooo sick of it!!!

Anyways hope everyone is well, and hope Amy comes back soon and is ok!!

Its sooooooo hot . .I am definitely not a fan of summer though I must admit its a lot better then the summer I spent on the sunshine coast!! . .

Me and the little miss are exhausted. She has been sick for 3 days now. Very cranky and clingy. Puking and a little diarrhoea. Then throw in the tooth she is working on and its not a very pretty picture. The doctor checked her out but couldnt find anything so she may have picked something up in queensland or on the plane back. Who knows. Today has been okay so far . .no puking yet . and we managed an hour nap . .though I had to hold her for it .. but its better then no sleep. .and she is a little happier. FIngers crossed she is over it. I hate seeing little miss down in the dumps.

Kate : I have my fingers crossed for you . .its so exciting!! suspense is like adrenalin .

To everyone else . .I try my best to keep up but with 28k dial up it takes hours to look through a thread sometimes. . hehe . .though if anyone wants to chat on msn which works much fast . .

Abigail starts swim school next saturday and we are so excited. My marriage certificate came today so now i have the joyful task of going everywhere and changing my name yay

i think thats about all thats happening. DH has his appointment with the specialist next thursday so im not sure if i will make the bubhub meet oh and he is refuseing to take his medication and is being a biatch about it. I swear my house is 15 degrees hotter than outside in summer and 345 degrees colder in winter! :banghead: then we have to visit DH's grandma and parents and maybe visit my grandma who has been rushed back to hospital!

I just came on to see if Kate was preggie actually   I'm such a sticky nose. Looks like you had a busy day tho Kate, so I'll check back again tomorrow LOL, I need to get a life I think.

Nat I know what you mean about the boob-a-thon, Carla does that at least once a week. I don't want her to grow up :crying: We saw two littler babies today, a one month old and a 3 month old, Carla was a big boofa compared to them. But she's still so little, I just wish it would last longer!

I still can hardly believe she eats real food now and is starting to move around independently.

Hi everyone!

i'm in a better frame of mind today but weirdly enough with all the cramps i thought AF would have visited last night but nope. Maybe there is still hope yet or my body is being a biatch and giving me false hope.

Well today is my first day back a home as a SAHM and im LOVING IT!!! it was great working those 2 weeks and the cash was brilliant b ut at the moment im watching Abby attack a cardboard box with the dvd remote control and dont know how i did it for two weeks! She has been getting up at around 7 in the morning i guess to see me before i went to work but this morning she was in bed until 9ish and when i walked past her room she had woken up and was playing with toys in her cot. she let mumy sleep in!! I felt like crying! Hello hormones!

She is in her big highchair for the first time (just a normal highchair) as we always use her hook on highchair and I must say I am loving he fact she can it in it with the ray and have breakkie then pay with some toys and play the drums on it. Why didnt i get it out of the cupboard earlier???:banghead: she loves it!

Anyway will probaby BBL need to rescue the remot control!

Hey everyone, just thought i would quickly stop in and say hi!!

HI!!!!!

I just read everyones posts and then went and did my emails and now i have no idea what i was going to say lmao

Umm Coop had his first swim yesterday at his Dads house. Unfortunatly i went in with him, not my intention, his dad went to push me, but only just touched me and i sorta leaned against him and went in... so not impressed lmao. Coop thought the splash's were funny tho so i guess that was good lmao.

I am getting a tattoo tomorrow!!! VERY exciting! Just as long as we can get in anyways... gotta call them back this arvo to find out. Gotta run, the boy is awake!!

Um I really have nothing to say, just killing time before I cook dinner, so I check my email, and it's just habit to come to bubhub.

What and where is the tat Nissa? I used to want one, never could decide what to get, so I didn't. I'm actually glad I didn't now, but I'm not anti-tattoos or anything. They can look amazing.

Ugh cockroaches are just sickening Nat, I don't know how you deal with them. Like you say tho, there aren't any in the UK. Do you know when you'll be moving yet?

OK kids are getting hungry now, so best be off. It's taken me like half an hour to type this as I keep getting called by someone (DH included) .

Oh wow they are cool :bfn: for me if i wanted to test lmao

I am not definate on the tattoo yet... i want to get the chinese symbol thing for love and then coopers date of birth or name underneath, but i am just sooooooo paranoid that i am gonna end up with something that really ends up saying toilet or something lol. I am a total tattoo addict, i have 6 so far although you would never guess it!! I never show any of them! Two are on my belly so they now see no light lmao and they are all very small and sorta spread out so i dont look like i have lots iykwim lol. I haven't gotten a new one for over two years so i am a little scared lol, can ya tell???

I just put coop down for a sleep and ended up sleeping myself... oops!! So now i am chatting away half asleep... so if i dont make any sense that is why!!!

:bfp: he he he :devil6:

I am so getting a womens day tomorrow kate! That is so cool!! And when i get home i am going to go through coop's piccy's and find the cutest one and send it in!!

As everyone is talking about cocky's, has any one seen the wild ones? THey are massive, and totally gross, i saw them years ago on some tv show, some people have them as pets!! They are sooo freaky! I wish i could forget them, everytime i see a cocky i freak cuz there could be one of them hiding somewhere lol

Ok better go... just waiting for Ezzma to come back from running around.... hmm hmm hmm

Hi girls!

Still haven't caught up on all the posts, sorry, don't think I'll have time either.
Just been so busy lately, and not coming on here as much as I was. Just feel I don't need it as much, or more so that I need to spend more time cleaning than on here chatting! lol

Kailah is trying so hard to crawl, she gets on her knees and then up on her arms and doesn't know what to do, so she lays back down. This morning she got up on her hands and her feet:eek: very strange, she thought she was great doing it! She does a little commando crawling occasionally but she only moves a few inches and rolls over and giggles.

She ate carrot sticks last night! (cooked of course!) She loved them. Ate 5!!! Then this morning it was all in her nappy....lol... pretty gross.
So the finger foods have begun... she has banana fingers, carrot fingers, I'm going to try her with mango fingers soon and potato fingers tonight! She chews up all the food in her mouth really well and didn't gag once last night, I was very proud!

BBL, gotta do the dishes:thumbsdown: then pick Emy up from her first day back at group therapy... hope she is very tired and falls asleep for a couple hours!:fingerscrossed:

 Well we went to Kindermusik today Eliza had a ball I was a little concerned when we got there as she was the youngest 4 other toddlers but they were all over her and she loved it she enjoyed the music and shook her bells and enjoyed the massage/movement part of it.
I am watching the Australian story abour Steve Irwin on the internet, it's not particulary sad but I have just gone and upset myself again:rolleyes: I have had pictures of Australia zoo on my fridge for like 4 years so I see them every day gosh I am so sappy. Any hoo got to call the UK tonight trying to get insurance quotes for the car if we take it that is.

Hope everyone is well I heard from Amy she said she will try to log in here soon.

Hey everyone! I love the idea of kindermusic, if it was a bit cheaper i would be in there!! Not even that sure if it is in bundy... maybe one day lol

Coop occasionally waves... probably once a week lol, like he does it, but not to you iykwim lol. Cant wait till he is properly associating it with hello goodbye...

Coop can say hello!!! He was saying it all sunday morning and has said it a few other times, i dont think he has any idea that it means something, but if you say it to him he says it back (when he is in the mood anyways lol)

Got our tats done a little while ago (my neck one is in my avatar!) It means year of the dog cuz that is when coop was born! I really didnt like the look of the love one, so decided on that one. I also got a little butterfly on my foot about a cm from my little toe. That one hurt lol, the neck one i wasnt actually sure when he started lol so that was good!

OK better go coop is awake!!!

Ughh I am seething!!!! W/B Amy! Glad all is pretty good.

Nat~ I thought that when you became an Aus citizen that you were no longer british??? Call me dumb but that's what I thought citizenship was all about so you were Ozzie, I am confused now. So you can become a citezen of every country if you want???
Sorry To quote Pauline fricken Hanson, but... *please explain*

Nizz~ LOVE the tat! I really wanna get one but cannot decide what, I have a few things in mind but really want to be sure as it's there for life!

I have dual citizenship, Kris not every country allows it So if I was from Turkey I would have to give up that citizenship to become an Aussie.

 Nat you poor thing! :hugs: Hopefully it was just a one off thing!

Bad news last night is that my grandma is still on hospital but today they are going to operate on her. They are going to put a tube down her throat with a camera on it or something. this is bad news because we were told a few weeks ago that having this operation would over 50% kill her because her heart first of all wouldnt be able to take the anaesthetic and secondly she has trouble breathing as it is so putting a tube down there wouldnt help that either. I just dont know what to feel today. I am worried about the fact she may die but at the same time i dont want grandma to feel any more pain. She is the 5th generation in my family that is alive. I am so scared!

Anyway I will probaby be on here a lot or not at all today keeping my brain occupied.

Anyone else have trouble with their bubs crawling up to the top of their cots? Abigail is the mater escape artist. We wrap her up twice then tuck her in with the blankey so we are sure there is no way she can move and when I go in she is in the top of her cot with her arms out playing with a teddy bear. We thought of taking ted out of the cot because of SIDS risk but we thought it's better to have her hit her head on ted than bang it on the top of the cot.

Kate I use to work in an OR, and I hope your G'ma is OK it's not a big operation but still it's the anaesthtic which is the worry :hugs: and let us know how it all goes.

Well she woke at 2.45 am and played until 4am had ANOHTER feed and slept until 6.30am I however could not sleep at all and was in tears, then my bird who lives outside started sqwaking so I went out and told him off, then my DP said don't cry babe it's OK ahhhOMFG I wanted to die I said it is this bad lol it's been 3 weeks bar 3 nights of her waking up every 2-3 hours I am exhusted!!! + I can't get back to sleep this doesn't help the emotions!! She's still awake she normall sleeps 8-9.30am but not today I have put her in her cot to chill out!

She ate a crazy amount of solids yesterday one sitting she had 20 spoons of apple/apricot/date mush and fed like I said already maybe she has worms

Nat - You poor thing you must be exhausted :hugs: Do you express at all for the night time feeds??? I take my hat off to you for sticking with it you are doing a wonderful job - it will get better. Go Eliza with her solids she is doing really well.

Well Poppy had pureed apple this morning in her cereal and loved it. She now has had potato, sweet potato, zuchinni, apples and wholegrain cereal. Going to try carrots, pumkin, pears and avocado next :yelclap:

BTW Nat I am becoming a Kindermusik educator and starting my own business!!! I have a dance backgroung doing ballet for 10 years and and other dance and I compose music on the piano so I thought it would be great for me :fingerscrossed:

Fingers crossed for you kate . .

I found out yesterday that my grandfather might have colon cancer. They found a tumor in his colon and his bladder has some thickening of the lining. They are going in to do their thing on thursday afternoon so I am really hoping its benign. My grandfather is like another father to me. I couldnt imagine it without him around. And I want matilda to experience all the great things I did with him.

Nat - girl your preaching to the choir. since we got back from queensland on the 8th, Matilda has been going to bed at 11 then waking up at 1. . then 3 then 5 then 7 . .have a play .. then take another short nap .. im totally exhausted . I dont wanna imagine what i look like. . last saturday my mum took her for about 30 mins cause she was so overtired she kept crying and crying and i started crying . .so mum took her and got her to nap for about 10 mins .. while i cried over some dishes .. plus matilda has been sick last week and working on a tooth . .sheesh .. when it rains it pours . .what I wouldnt give for just 5 hrs in a row .. it takes me ages to get back to sleep and by the time i do . .she is awake again!!

But her smiles are worth it . .I just hope I dont collapse :S

I then popped some panadol major headache and had a turkey sambo and boom Eliza and me slept for 2 hours yeee harr!! 18-10-2006, 15:36
Hi ladies,

Good to see you back Amy. Wish I was moving house too :fingerscrossed: one day it will happen. I don't wish for AF though, she can stay on holidays for a couple of years.

I just love the stage our babies are in now, starting to discover new things every day, new tastes, making new sounds and moving in different ways, it's all fun to watch. Carla is squealing now for attention, and if you walk past her without stopping she will squeal until you turn around, then smile and try to follow you. She bobs her head up and down like a cockatoo as well

Carla always sleeps at the top of the cot too, usually uncovered and wakes up cold. I am lucky to be able to fall asleep again quickly during the night. Actually I don't think I wake up properly, just do what I need to do all in a daze. I love my  -was watching Carl Baron on Rove last night, and he was making jokes about people who say they love sleeping.

Nat I hope you get some good solid sleep soon.

Carla is sooking - BBL

Oh Nat, I can truly sympathise from the bottom of my heart... I haven't posted much because I'm also suffering from sleep deprivation and it seems we are in the minority - all the other bubs in my mother's group are sleeping well, or only waking twice a night for food. But Laura is like Eliza... every two hours! I am a walking zombie! Had a huge fight with DH the other night because it all became too much - I had to spend all last week looking after a sick husband and sick baby and now that they are well, I feel like it's my turn for a rest. The glands in my throat are swollen so I'll probably get sick now... god I hope not.

Oh dear I'm rambling... what I wanted to say was I have become very ANTI-Controlled Crying, especially after reading The No-Cry Sleep Solution by Elizabeth Pantley. I tried CC but it was absolutely horrible - Laura would end up hysterical plus DH and I just didn't feel right about doing it. I now know of new and better ways to settle Laura and this book has got us in the right direction. You can get it at Angus & Robertson. Let me just say that three nights ago, Laura woke every two hours and was impossible to get back to sleep - most nights she'd want playtime for hours on end - totally exhausting for mummy! And this has gone on since she was about four months of age (she will be eight months old next week). BUT last night she woke once for a feed at 11.30pm, then slept till 6am!!! I got up and fed her, we had a play on the floor while I had a cuppa and toast and watched telly, and then she went back to her cot at 8am for a nap. We are only at the beginning of seeing results and I suspect it will take a lot longer for this situation to be set in stone. But my point is that I'm living proof that your baby can sleep better without having to let them cry it out. :yelclap: I can't really give you tips from the book, because it all depends on your routine, whether you're breast or bottle feeding, co-sleeping or not, etc, etc. She has ideas for every situation.

I really hope you consider it... instead of letting her cry. Don't give up, and don't think you're failing (that's what I thought) because babies are emotional not rational. They have no idea how to put themselves back to sleep when they wake up - it's easy for adults, we just roll over and doze off. Rocking them or feeding them to get them to sleep is not a crime - it's a natural instinct IMO. Sorry for going on and on. Good luck - I'm thinking of you.

Just wanted to add one more thing.... Laura is clapping hands!!! :yelclap: We taught her last week and now she does it all the time when we play or sing "If you're happy and you know it".

Shannon, great news about Laura.

I have to share....

Kailah is FINALLY rolling everywhere. Rolls front to back and back to front. She waves now too... so cute and she laughes when she does it like she knows she good and thinks she's sooo clever!

She is trying even harder to crawl now and can manage a short commando crawl (usually backwards but that's how it starts!)
Her motivation to move.... anything with a tag! Yep that's right! If it has a tag on it she wants it! I have left the tags on all her toys for that reason... she loves them! Loves fiddling and chewing them.... I see no harm in that.

We are having a day at home, I am watching movies and folding washing etc etc. LOVING IT! 2 weeks of school holidays and now a break! Kailah and I spent a whole hour this morning rolling around the floor playing together, it was bliss! I know it sounds mean but, Kailah and I really need a bit more 1:1 time, I can't turn my back on Emily for half a second as she always does something to Kailah. I know it is more an attention thing, but pulease! give me a break!!!! She is at pre-school tomorrow too so Kailah and I are treating ourselves to lunch and some window shopping (well, treating ME to lunch anyways...he he he!

Better go do some more veging!:p

Shannon, when she wakes up she never cries she just coo's lol I know this is all normal for 6th month old but sheshh I am tired!!! I keep meaning to look at that book, I would never do CIO just not me, I don't want her to associate sleep with crying and stress!

went to the meet up Eliza played with Krisseh's daught Matilda they looked cute together have pictures on my phone, dunno how to get them on the pooter :D

BabyJoy
19-10-2006, 12:52
Well Nat, that's just it - it doesn't HAVE to be normal... the way babies sleep patterns work, they have lots of light sleep and brief awakenings and it's at these times that adults put themselves to sleep, but babies sometimes can't. I have tried a lot of ways to get her to sleep longer (including The Baby Whisperer) and The No-Cry book has so far been the best for us as it does help babies learn to go back to sleep when they have these brief awakenings. If you are happy for her to wake every couple of hours and nurse, rock, etc, then keep going... but if it's causing stress, anxiety, frustration, etc, then I really recommend you try some different techniques to help Eliza sleep better.

I know Shannon it's the "if your happy" bit that gets me lol sometimes I am like well this is what she needs :ecomcity: and it works for me and her so lets go with it, then the other times like now I am like THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!!!! .

EDIT
Shannon I went to the bookshop today I had to get out this arvo she was just crazy and I was nearly in tears so I went out and paced around the park at 100kms an hour bought her some new PJ's as she grew out of her other ones and went to the bookshop, the book was $30 so umm I am going to have a look at some other shops as that is just pricey lol we get screwed on books here in Australia!!

you poor thing Nat! God help John if he ever said anything like that to me! he'd be getting well acquainted with the lounge...once i'd moved it into the dogs house.

Abigail starts swimming lessons tomorrow!! My big girl! I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I am not good at meeting other people i worry about everything and then to have to get into a bathing suit in front of them oh god! Anyone know of a drug i can take tonight that will make me lose 15 kilos by morning? i need to have 65 of them! Please courier it over to me if anyone has any! oh i shouldnt have started talking about i now im going to have anxiety about it until morning!

Anyway I am so exhausted. Being at work for 2 weeks was so much easier than being home with abracadabra. I am totally buggered plus i nearly knocked myself out on the shower tap after bending over to get the shampoo this morning! damn shampoo!

what nappies do you girls use? we use huggies but ran out at the shops the other day and due to limited funds had to buy home brand ones and i must say they're great! they stood up to the whole night test last night. Abby wasnt wet at all. not a drop! I was amazed I was ready to get up this morning to a wet baby and sheets but no not at all. And they were $5.85 for 20! I am now thinking of switching permanently to them but dont want to sop using huggies :crying: strange how attached a woman can get to a nappy!

Nat~ hope your feeling better soon, and hope little miss 'PRINCESS' starts sleeping through soon. Have you thought of topping her up with some 'poison' (formula) sorry, someone on this forum keeps going on and on about how formula is just 'poisons' and we should not give it to our babies:mad: :banghead:

Anyhooo, I know it would be a big step and I know that you will try EVERYTHING before it gets to that stage but you know it does work for alot of mums. PLease don't chew my head off now, just trying to help hun:o you know I wuv you!!!

Kate, nappies: I usually buy babylove, but am using home brand at the moment as they didn't have Kailah's size when I was desperate. I usually use cloth only during the day and only disposable for night time.
Huggies are good but there are other brands that are just as good that are MUCH cheaper. I think alot of ppl think b/c they cost the most they must be the best, but like everything else, that is normally not the case. Huggies leaked alot on Kailah and they are just wayyyy to expensive to buy for Emily (no she is STILL not BL00DY toilet trained but WILL be this summer!!! If she has to live on the darn toilet!!!!!)

Ok rant over.

just logged on to see how everyone is, I'm off to work soon so gotta go de-snotify, de-poopify, de-spewify myself so then I will be half presentable:p

I hadn't thought of it Lunar actually...Yesterday I made sure she got her solids 3 meals and she only woke twice last night she's had 2 meals today so far she has another with us at dinner, we'll see how tonight goes.

I hope everyone has a good weekend, hope work is kind to you Kris...Kate how did the DR go?

Okay Nat... devoted to expensive Huggies, but don't want to part with $30 for a good book - which by the way, you could sell for a good price on ebay when you're finished! ;) Hmmmm....
I actually tried to buy it secondhand first but could only find it from overseas sellers, so just went and bought it brand new. I bet there are heaps of sleep-deprived mums scouring ebay for that book!

I am a cloth mummy! :yelclap: I love my daughter in her modern clothies and her bum stays dry all day just like in disposables (gotta love fleece!) but I do use disposables at night so she doesn't lie in a puddle if she does big wee-wees overnight! At the moment I've got Woolworths Select nappies for her... they are cheap and just as good as Huggies. Babylove nappies gave Laura a rash so had to stop buying those.

Who the hell is this woman saying formula is poison!!!??? Are you sure it's not just some forum troll or someone trying to make trouble?

Nat, do you have MSM Messenger for Mac? I tried to install it on mine but it's not working... help!

The latest news here is that I had to go to the doc this morning (again) and what do you know? I have tonsilitis!! My bloody throat has been killing me for days and my glands are so swollen it looks like I have golf balls sticking out of my neck! I thought I was getting DH's flu, and was trying desperately to ward it off - pills, vitamins, orange juice, kiwi fruit, honey/lemon, etc, but nope it just got worse. I'm on antibiotics now. Laura has finished her antibiotics for her ear infection - hooray!

You know how we all have funny nicknames for our kids... we've got a couple of new ones at our place:
Raspberry Queen - because she loves anything raspberry flavoured (discovered this when she was sick!)
Clingon McCracken - because she always wants to cling on to me and if I don't let her she cracks it! (DH came up with that one!)

I was a babylove girl until the new design huggies came out and they fit matilda soo much better and leak rarely which you have got to love!!

My grandfather met with the surgeon yesterday and is booked in for surgery on tuesday. They are going to remove the mass and then test it. Fingers crossed its nothing more then a ball of gunk :fingerscrossed:

On a better note . . Matilda sat up for a good few minutes tonight on her own. I was so excited and proud of her. She's getting really good at it now and I'm sure it won't be long til she really gets the hang of it. She loves rolling and rolling to get everywhere. Its so funny when she hits a wall or chair and wants to keep going but can't. She gets so frustrated. I don;t think she quite realises she can roll the other way yet.

We also got a call that Matilda has been offered a place in one of the local PLaygroups. Im so excited. Our first day is monday and they have a lot going on. And its only $5 a year. I mean . .who can complain about that. They even have an occupational therapist that comes in regularly. They also cater for special needs and isolated families. Which means all the kiddes get to interact with a lot of variety. Which i think is awesome!.

Ummmmmmm . .other then that.. I have a bigggggggggg headache to match my sore mouth . . fun fun fuuuuuuuun!!

I forgot to say in my last post that Laura is the raspberry queen because she also blows raspberries all day long! ---> :p

Well I am a very happy mummy this morning (despite tonsilitis) because Laura's sleep has improved dramatically. I borrowed a night light from a friend because I had a theory that perhaps she was frightened of the dark when she wakes up - and doesn't realise where she is. Last night at bedtime she went in the cot wide awake - no rocking - with the night light and within 20 minutes fell asleep without any crying. Then for both night feeds (11pm and 3am) she did the same thing. I left the night light on, put her in the cot wide awake - no rocking!!! - and she put herself to sleep. I also had some really soft lullaby music playing in her room so that probably helped as well. After 20mins I would go back in her room to find her all snuggled up to her sooky (that's her security blanket) and fast asleep, so I could then switch off the light. I'm so impressed that she didn't ask for me once and my sore joints are also grateful!! We have had a run of good nights this week so I am REALLY hoping it continues. :fingerscrossed:

Thanks guys for the help with messenger... I'll give it a go today.

YAY Matilda for sitting up!! :yelclap:

Hey there,
Hope Im still welcome to have a chat , i have been offline for a while and lost touch with the whole march mummas thread.

Cooper is 7 months now, how time fly's. I'm looking forward to catching up on how all the babies are. I havent had a read through the posts yet but will try to.

Coop still wakes at least once a night for a feed then back to bed. I cant wait till he sleeps all night , that'd be heaven.
Ive been putting him on th potty of a morning and he poo's and wee's everytime hes on it, he loves it and is so impressed with himself when he gets off and we all clap for his poo poo.:yelclap: :smiliedance: ( Our neighbours must think I'm crazy)

:yelclap: Im so excited! I just got my first assignment back and I did really well. Teacher said they were all excellent answers and I had fantastic presentation. Its amazing how you can still feel like a little kid getting a gold star!!

We had our first day at playgroup today. It was awesome. There was another 6 mth old little boy and an 8mth old girl who's mother I actually went to school with though she was a few years above me. Small world. Its really cool there as well. They had 2 big mats set up for the smaller kids and about 5 different tables for the toddlers. With painting and craft and stuff like that. They also have all the kids sit down together to eat and then have a song and dance or story. DEfinitely going back next week!!

On another note I thought since no one will ever meet Matilda's father that Id post an old picture of us. So you can see what her other genes come from. This was in melbourne in January this year.

Hi Girls!

WOW! what a busy w/end I had! Work work work, making slings, had a kids clothing party.
Man I am buggered! Gotta work heaps more this w/end, but then I am going to book a couple w/ends at my local markets, see how my slings sell.
I got some really nice summer colours in too! I want one of each (but I wouldn't make much money if I give half of them to myself now would I?!?! lol)

GREAT NEWS!!!! Kailah is now waving AND CLAPPING!!!! it is sooo cute! She started clapping last night, now all I have to say is YAAAY!!! and she claps and giggles!:yelclap: :p

Well, I have a MAJOR headache, plus I have a parent committee meeting to attend tonight, so gotta cook dinner then get myself there, shesh!

Hope everyone is well.

Nat~ how are nights with Eliza? Any change?

ETA...
Had THE weirdest dream last night. I did a HPT and it was BFP!!!! ARGH!!!
But I was hiding it from DH for some reason, I wanted to be pg but I knew that my body was not ready, I had all these mixed feelings about it but still kept it from DH (something that I would never do, so now I am really confused about the dream....) any thoughts girls?

whoo way to go K!!! c:yelclap::wave:

Yes the last few nights have been better last night she only woke once just like the old days lol

anddddd today she started crawling.....................Backwards:laughing: she gets up rocks and rocks and then shuffles backwards and lays down squeals and does it all over again she moved about 2 metres today into the Kitchen where I was was! Funny stuff!

Imagine Kris you getting a BFP I am not sure but I heard you gotta have sex before that happens :D

*Sal*
23-10-2006, 20:01
Kris what a strange dream, I would be freaking out! But like Nat says, you actually have to have sex first  :o The waving and clapping must be so cute, hooray for Kailah.

I love the backwards crawling, but the poor bubbies get so frustrated when they can't quite co-ordinate their arms and legs. Carla plants her feet and pushes forward, but doesn't get up on her knees yet.

Nat, sorry to hear about the pain you have been having and the thyroid dramas, I have thyroid problems too with a multi-nodular goitre, have had lots of ultrasounds on it over the years, and the larger nodules have been biopsied too. It's a bit of a merry-go-round of doctors/specialists/pathology - quite annoying really. If the thyroid doesn't grow and restrict breathing or swallowing, imo you don't have to worry about it. Mine was picked up nearly 6 years ago and although it is steadily growing (Partly because I keep having kids) it is still not a huge problem as my hormone levels are within normal too. Having said all that though, I am seeing a surgeon next month to discuss my options. It's expensive to keep getting ultrasounds etc, and who knows how safe they are? But I'm not sure if I want to be on thyroxine permanently either. Hope yours is easily managed :hugs:

Krisseh, good on you with the studying. Don't know how you find the time. Your playgroup sounds just like mine. We have lots of babies there too now, whereas there were none at the start of the year.

Better wake up Carla, she has been asleep since 5.30 and it's now after 9.00. I guess I will be having a late nite..............

 Hello!

Omg I've been sooo sick...:barf: hideous gastro that just kept coming back every time I thought I felt a bit better. Last week was a blur. I've also been busy transfering all my stuff over to the lap top. So I can sit in front of the telly with the kids and still be doing stuff online! Nawdy aren't I. Thomas has two lil toofies that are being held down by the tiniest flap of skin... I think they are racing to see whose first out. He's developed an extra high and squeaky fake laugh that he does when his big bro and sisters act up for him. So cute :D .
Back later to catch up some more.

Hey everyone,

Nat-hubby is ok has to have the colonoscopy to rule everything out but that wont be until february as we have no private in surance and in the public system we have to wait that long maybe longer. The doc didnt do an internal or anything absically just looked at him and said because of his age there shouldnt be anything t o worry about  Abigail has gastro :crying: my poor little bubba :crying: we think she got it from the pool! So we now have 24 hours of her not being able to eat! :crying:

OK, Kailah had her dinner tonight and threw the whole lot up, then right before bed I was giving her a bottle she was really fussy and only had half of it and fell asleep. Then she started squirming and cried then :barf: all over me and the lounge, I had to put her on the floor so I could take my shirt off which was dripping in it and she continued to vomit all over the floor!! FAR OUT! What is wrong? I thought maybe it had something to do with the juice she had today but I am now thinking it is what she ate for dinner. I had to feed her a jar as my stash ran out, so maybe it was that. She didn't eat much of it, she hates non-home cooked food.

Anyway.
Best be off.

Hi guys I got the trifecta today!! First Christian peed all over me as I was rushing to take him to the loo at the shops. Went straight home to shower us both, then Carla spewed all over me after I got changed. Then thirdly Christian decides to poo in his sleep and I had to change him again as well as the sheets. Ah the joys of motherhood.

Hope all the other spewy people are feeling better soon - Keara, Abby and Kailah.

Keara good to hear from you again. How's the sewing going?

I was wondering how many meals a day everyone's baby has? We give Carla cereal for breakfast every day, sometimes she only wants boobie for the rest of the day and sometimes she takes another meal in the early evening.

Lunar

What's up with this weather? Cold today, yuck.
Sal, sewing has been at a standstill the past week, but I'm going to get back into it soon.

Nat~ what does it matter what others think. I don't let my girls cry (well Emily sometimes if it's a tantrum cry and she only wants my attention when she is being naughty)

Well, now Emily is sick. She threw up all her weat bix this worning but I just thought it was the milk, she has been having a bit of reflux with cow's milk of late so I was going to get her soy milk today. So I still sent her to pre-school but they phoned half hour later saying she just threw up everywhere but it was thick green bile yukness!!!:barf: <----just like that.!!
So I came straight home and phoned thier paed and he said bring them in asap! He is soooo good like that, LOVE him!
He said they most probably have rota virus (just like everyone else) and if they don't improve, esp Kailah, we might need to be admitted to hospy:thumbsdown: . So he just told me to give them both diluted cordial, no milk for Em, and half strength formula for Kailah.

I feel so bad. Emily keeps coming up to me and lifting her shirt up and pointing to her tummy saying "soooore. Mummy soooore"
I feel so bad.

Well, I better go clean some spew... how lovely.

Hi!

Glad to hear ultrasound went okay, despite E crying. Gawd some people say dumb things - "exercising lungs" has to be up there with the dumbest wives tales! Hope you get some better diagnosis with you new doc, Nat.

Re: food... Laura usually eats three meals a day. Small breakfast of yogurt, Farex banana custard (mixed with leftover formula) or some fruit (we're trying apricots and peaches this week - tin fruit mashed up); lunch is veges and meat (I made fish and chicken for her last week and she didn't like it much but will eat it if there's lots of carrot or pumpkin or sweet potato mixed in); and dinner is usually fruit and yogurt again. She is really going off savoury things and wants the sweet stuff, so I'm starting to call her Yogurt Queen now!!

Laura woke with a snotty nose again the day after swimming... not sure if swimming is to blame (could be germies in the water) but now I'm wondering if I should stop going. I really hate having to deal with a snotty baby - they don't sleep well, they don't feed well! Aarrgh! :banghead:

Hey Everyone,

we avent been on here in a while . Abby is slowly and surely getting over her gastro. Yesterday I only had one pooey nappy as opposed to her 15 a day efforts she's been giving me since last saturday. I cancelled her swimming lesson for thi saturday just in case. I'd hate for the other mums and dads to go through what we did. Is there a meet on thursday??? We will be coming! Providing no oher family member gets sick! The pics of Matilda are too cute Krissy! Glad ot hear your pop's surgery went well.

Nat-so happy to hear your ultrasound was good. silly person telling you about Eliza exercising her lungs! We dont let abracadbra cry either. Some people just belong in a blender.

Hope this makes sense as am running on below empty right now! al i can say is thank god abby has been sleeping through the night!

OOOOO news just in we're attempting to switch to cloth nappies! bought my first yesterday will be here in a few days :fingerscrossed: all goes well and abby doesnt massacre them!

I was so vigilant about what abby could eat and drink before she got gastro. Now she's had lemonade (diluted), cordial (diluted) , juice (diluted), ice block, milk arrowroot biscuits! I feel a bi like a loss of innocence IYKWIM silly mummy

The CFMEU opened a rememberance wall for all men and women killed on the job yesterday and my mum was involved in the ceremony. My dad was crushed to death on a job site in 1988. It's in lidcombe. I wish I culd have gone but as abby is still contagious i couldnt. We havent been out of the house except to go to my mums as she's already 'infected' in nearly a week. Mummy is going stir crazy! My house is a total shambles with washing everywhere and DH's aunty drops in :banghead: MIL has just been on the phone to DH asking if we can go out to dinner tonight :banghead: wha part of abigail is contagious do people not understand! She is basically over it but cannot be exposed to people for 24 hours afer her last runny poo. sorry if TMI which was yesterday morning but she hasnt done one since. How do you know when gasro stops and a reaction to the introduction of lemonade, juice, cordial etc starts?

Anywy will probably be back on later!

Take Care

kailah has managed a whopping 300ml of half strength formula today, won't have a bar of the water I keep trying to get into her.
She did something gross...... I changed her nappy cos she done a poop, but I left her naked on the floor as I forgot the new nappy...ducked into the bedroom to get one... half way back I hear this really gross fart noise.... oh NOOOOOOOO... she did a big runny yellow poop on the carpet!!!!!:barf: i ALWAYS have a blanket or play mat under her when I change her... why the **** didn't I do it that time?!?!?!?!?!!!!??? Far out!!!! So I had to scrub the carpet and disinfect it..... I wanna stam clean it now.... we'll hire one in a couple weeks I think.
Well, best be off try give Kailah some more to drink and get Emily... then it's off to work again:(

Hello everyone,

Abigail is down for a nap and im feeling slightly less optimistic about her gastro being gone now. She did her first poo this morning which was solid :smiliedance: then her second one was solidish but with watery bits so sorry tmi makes me want to :barf: so i dont know if she is still contagious....mmmm....:detective: she is still taking the hydrolyte anyway and wil be doing so until afer tomorrow at least but if it keeps going i have to take her back to the doc.

Lunar-I have had a week of those nice farty surprises...noice...i want to steam clean my entire house!

I hope abigail is over it .. maybe its just a little left over or because she is eating again . .? .. :fingerscrossed: its all good and you can meet up on thursday!

I will try and remember my camera as well . .the more who try and remember the more chance at least once of us will actually bring it!!

Matilda has developed 2 new habits this past week. Once is really cute and once is not so much. The first is this twisting thing with her hand. When she has a toy or when she is feeding she will twist her wrist like a queen wave but her hand is open . .makes me think of an old greek lady my mum new that always twisted her hand saying etsy ketsy .. its so cute it makes us giggle . .

The other one is while she is feeding she has always liked to move her fingers along my top or my booby but now as she develops her fine motor skills she has started pinching .. she does it right next to her mouth and its okay as long as she doesnt use her nails. .and then . .omg. . ouch!! . .that isnt a nice place to get pinched!!

On another note . .we found out my grandfather is doing great. .he wont have to surgery again !! and should be out in a few days!! :smiliedance:

Also . . Im sooooooooooo jealous of my friend kathy. . she told me yesterday she is pregnant again and I couldnt beleive I felt jealous. I was like whoa .. Id never even considered another baby right now but when I saw that I was like .. damn . .I always wanted more and didnt want a huge gap between bubs but since its just me .its going to be a while. . :(

Hey everyone! Sorry i havent been on for a while...

My brother is sick again and we have had all sorts of trouble actually getting him into hospital! There were no beds in the hospital he went to so had to wait to be transferred by ambulance so he ended up having to wait out the front of the hospital for 15 hours! Then when he was finally transferred to the new hospital they stuffed up the paperwork or something stupid along those lines and didnt get admitted until 3.30 am ans he got to the first hospital at 9am the previous morning! That was over a week ago now and he still hasnt been transferred back although they keep telling us it is going to happen in the next few days or some cr@p (cr@p).

Other then that all is ok i spose. We are moving to Brisbane to be closer to my brother and help him out a bit. So that is going to be fun. We have two months to organize a move, my mum also needs to get a transfer through the education department, which we are doubtful she will actually get in two months... but yeah it is all fun and games over this way

Coop is going well, he is wiggling all around the lounge room now, he has decided he doesnt want to sleep again tonight and has wiggled himself over in front of the rocking chair and is kicking it to make it move  little bugger

Coop has one or two solid meals a day... but at the moment is having the jars of food... gotta get to the supermarket and get some real vegies........ I gave him a little bit of baby juice the other day which he loved!!

OK better go i am sooo exhausted!

Good to hear Abby is on the mend! I cant believe how many bubbas have been sick! Poor little guys! They shouldnt get sick this young, it just isnt fair!! Although it doesnt get better as they get older tho... so i dunno... but good to hear so many are getting better too!!!

I started to write this hours ago so have no idea what i was going to write and i am too tired to go through it again, so i am very sorry if i have missed something!!

Oh so much sickness, sorry to hear about it, but I am sure glad nothing is contagious in cyber-space  We've all been well for the past week or so, yay, better not jinx myself!!

Hope the uti clears up soon Nat, at least you know what the pain was now. And good news for your thyroid too.

Keara, hooray for Thomas's teeth, hope the biting stops tho. Carla bites me too (and pinches and scratches) but with gums is much better than with teeth.

Nissa, sorry if missed something, I didn't know your bro was sick. Good luck with the move to Brissy - plenty of bubhubbers there.

Krisseh, the photos of Matilda are really cute.

Was going to write more but Carla has decided to scream and is getting louder - we don't let her cry (much) either...

Shannon I bought the book it was either that or hurt myself or somone I honestly don't cope well without sleep, the last two days have been hard well today mostly and then we visited the MIL who was a total wench and literally yanked Eliza from me which made her cry and then said "you get her all day, it's my turn" she is not a fricken ride **** I was so angry and didn't want to snatch Eliza back and stress the poor thing out more so I waited and as soon as she squealed again I went over and said it's OK darling we're leaving now and we did Jesus AND sorry get this! She let her play with a bead necklace and DP said err mum that's dangerous she might break it and choke so she went off and we said what are you doing she said getting her something else to chew on and came back with another bead necklace:rolleyes: errr derrrr and she goes what this one is clean...OMG:banghead:

I also went and got some new bra's yesterday I am a fricken D cup whoah helloooooo when did that happen!

got quotes for the removers who will pack all our stuff and wrap it ship door to door very happy with the quote now just got to sell more stuff!

Nat, your MIL sounds ike my MIL...by any chance is she a 45 yr oldblonde woman?? lol isnt it just so frustrating when they dont listen to you or they listen and tel you you're wrong and not to be so stupid. You can choose your friends!

thought i was getting sick earlier today but i think i just needed to stock up on water and have a nap! Anyone else have trouble sleeping?i cannot get to sleep it is terrible! Hence why i am on here so late every night!

Am so excited i have my first cloth nappy being delivered this week and i am about to win anothe rone on ebay which should be here this week and as luck would have it there is a huggies sale on this week. At woolworths the big boxes are $29.99 I will be buying a few boxes as i will be using both cloth and disposable until i feel comfy with abby in cloth nappies over night and for when we go out for a while. Also on sale at woolies this week are boxes of johnsons baby wipes you get 480 wipes (so 6 packs of 80) for $19.95.

Just thought i would post and let everyone know as i know some people dont get catalogues my MIL never does.

Gee that made my laugh 'sleeping probs' he he he it is probably just the sleep deprivation getting me tho lol Coop has just decided it is playtime, did so about 2 hours ago!! Thought he must have woken up cuz he was hungry, but wont even have a bar of that. it just isnt interesting enough. So coop is practising crawling movements and we are watching some sorta star wars show on tv... oh the joys of late night tv! But on the upside if i ever have erection problems i know who to call  OK i seriously shouldnt be writing on here when i am so bloody tired lol but ah well gotta stay awake somehow lol

Coop has learnt how to take my watch off now... so no doubt i will loose it soon!

I measured his length about a hundred times today and he is 75cm long... that isnt even on the chart for 7 months.... hmmm i wonder if it would still be the same for 7 & a half months... something to check ouyt when my brain is functioning me thinks.

ok better go and do something, i need to sleep!!! I was totally exhausted before i went to bed and only slept for an hour, i am going to be dead on my feet tomorrow!

ok going now i am babbling lol

oh look -------> gee that looks good!

:yelclap: Yay Eliza!:yelclap:

You clever girl!

Nat welcome to a whole new era in your life as a parent ;)
I think moving will be great for you, MIL sounds like a pill. Thank Goddess mine is lovely, she's not the type who runs over with a casserole. But she's still good value.

I'm still staggering about trying to get used to daylight savings time. I'm up late a lot too, it's the only time I can get work done in peace. I hear those ads for erection problems on the radio all the time, with DD sitting there.... Just what I need! "Muuuuuuum, what's an erection problem?"

We have respite care beginning tomorrow, for two hours per fortnight, and get this- they wanted to come from 8.30 am to 10.30... yeh that would be a great help! My kids are barely out of bed, still I can't complain I guess. Got DS all booked into school and his application for funding has finally gone in. I can't imagine having two kiddies at school next year- the house will feel empty!

Anyways, that's nuff from me,

Happy Monday all xx

YAY!!!! ELIZA!!!!!:yelclap: The fun begins NOW Nat!!! ha ha ha!!!

Keara, can you organise a different time for respite? I know up her they are pretty flexible and offer emergency respite too. They have overnight respite too. I have not accessed respite as I have my mum (good ole mum) to rely on to take Emily if we need to go some where or if I need a break.
I don't know what kind of family support you have tho.

Kailah is trying her best to crawl too. She gets up on hands and knees and rocks back and forth but can't figure out how to get her legs and arms working together, it's either one or the other moves and she gets stuck and frustrated then flops back on her belly. She did a massive face plant this morning and screamed the house down! Must have hurt...pooor thing.

Good news... I am applying for a new job tomorrow morning. One that doen't require me to work till 3 am and does not require lots of running around and lifting and drunks etc etc, all the great stuff I'm doing now that agrivates my 'sensitive uterus' and causes me to come home doubled over in pain and live off mersyndol.... Anyhoo, it's just at one of our major liquer shops, there are many positions available as it is a new store. It is owned by woolworhts (which I have worked for before) and get this... latest closing time 9pm!!!!! I soooo hope I get a job there!!! I know the fine wine manager so I have a foot in the door so to speak!

Well, not much else to report, I worked my butt off all f'ing w/end and am so freaking tired. My eye balls feel like the are about to shrivel up and fall out of my head!
Next monday is our 2 yr wedding anniversary, we are going out for dinner on sunday night then a movie or some bowling or something... gonna make the most of our time together...alone!!!!

Best be off. BBL I'm sure!

Hi everyone.. very quick post cause I'm at work! :shame: Boss has just left so I can sneak a peak at bubhub.

Great news about Eliza crawling! Laura's big milestone is that she is saying Da-da properly - started this morning so I rang DH so he could hear her and what do you know? She stopped. After I hung up, she started saying it again!! I was so annoyed!

I'm very glad to hear you got the book Nat. I have to tell you that Laura is a different baby! She has slept right through the night (7pm to 6am) on Friday and Saturday and then last night slept right through except for a feed at 2.30am (went back to sleep within half an hour WITHOUT rocking and was wide awake in the cot). She can put herself to sleep now without me rocking her and this is such a blessing for my joints. We are at a stage where she likes me being beside the cot, but she doesn't need me to hold her or need a dummy or bottle. She just holds onto her sooky rag and I leave the night light on for a while and without any patting or shushing or anything... she just closes her eyes and goes to sleep! Only a few weeks ago she was waking me seven times a night screaming - she is so different now!
I promise you, if you follow the book exactly the way she says, you will see results! :smiliedance: Good luck and let me know how it's going... I also used a few methods from Tracy Hogg (The baby whisperer) so I can tell you about those too if you like.
Okay, I can talk about sleep issues till the cows come home, so I'd better sign off.

Hugs to everyone - Niss, I wish you lots of luck and hope things work out with your fella! :fingerscrossed:

Thanks everyone!!! I am excited! But sorta wondering if i should stay with mum for another 6 weeks and save like crazy to get as much money together as possible... more convo's to have i does think!!

Will be moving to Noosa, hence the need for lots of money lol. Its good tho cuz i know i have a decent job there, and i know i will enjoy it and stuff. Still havent told my old bosses i am moving back... sorta dont want the lecture on coops dad (they are like my second parents lol).

OK i really have to know what that book is, it sounds great!!! Coop fell asleep playing with junk mail on the floor the other day and then put himself to sleep in the cot the same night, but other then that (and in the car or pram) i have to rock him to sleep and would Loooooooooove for him to be able to do it on his own!!!

OK better run my show is on!!

Finally , i get five minutes to myself...... talk about exhausted.

Good luck Niss, i hope every thing works out for you and Coop and your partner. Theres no point regreting not giving it a try years down the track. Live Love and Learn i say. :hugs:

WELL DONE ELIZA YOU CLEVER GIRL !!!:yelclap:

Whats the sleep book your all talking about? I would love to find out cause im dying for a full nights sleep. Coop still wakes around 10.30-11 for a feed then again at about 3.30-4 am He is having 3 feeds of solids a day , but im thinking he needs to have a bigger dinner. I need inspiration for his meals. Ive just been cooking pumpkin/potato/sweet potato for dinners with parsley and garlic. An Pear and Apple for the day. I mix his breaky apple and pear with the farax cereal and he loves that. I really need to get a few ideas on what else to cook him. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

I went to Myer on Thursday and had a look at the Christmas stuff, it is all so beautiful. I bought the boys a train that goes around under the tree called the north pole express and one of those water ornaments with the snow in it that gets blown around. I love christmas, its my favourite time of the year !!!:smiliedance:

Well i better go to bed:sleeping: , working 7.30 - 6 again tomorrow while the DH stays home with the boys. And id like to have a read of my new Tara Moss book before i fall asleep at the desk.
Hopefully will be able to bludge tomorrow at my desk and have a chat with you girlz

The book is The No-Cry Sleep Solution by Elizabeth Pantley. It's available at Angus and Robertson, hard to find on ebay (usually only from UK sellers) and yes, it's not cheap at $30... but it really helped me and Laura sort out our routine and gave me motivation as well as encouragement to be a good parent and also to be patient. I was at a point where I was starting to resent her for the sleepless nights and some nights would get so angry I had to wake up my husband to take her because I just didn't want to be near her. It was awful! :crying:
Niss, Laura went through a long stage of playtime at 2am for hours on end, it drove me crazy, and I realised the worst thing I could have done was encourage it. My advice (although I'm no expert so you can take this or leave it) is to turn off the TV and stay in Coop's room with him doing everything you can think of to get him to sleep - soft music, dim lights, bottle/breast, rocking, patting, shushing, singing, reading, anything! Even though you may be starting new habits such as rocking to sleep (that was Laura's habit) these can be changed over time. Babies need x amount of sleep and playtime at 2am can really screw up their internal clock.

My main issue in regards to getting Laura to sleep better was that after doing quite a bit of reading, I am totally against controlled crying. I think it's absolutely ******** and I feel ashamed that I tried it on Laura a few months ago. I understand why many parents do it, especially if they are at their wit's end, but I believe it's harmful to a child and that's why I sought alternative suggestions that involve no tears at all.... just lots of love, patience and guidance. One of the mums in my mother's group used CC from the first day they brought their newborn home from hospital. Her daughter is a quiet little girl who seems very content, but doesn't interract with the other babies (or adults) and I often wonder what sort of person she will turn out to be. At one meet, the mother left her in the pram in the hallway while the rest of us gathered in the living room with all the babies romping around on the floor. The baby in the pram was awake and yet silent, and isolated, we all felt sorry for her but didn't want to say anything to the mother because that's her way of parenting. Seems like a lonely start to life if you ask me. I'm getting off track a bit... the point is, CC worked for her in terms of sleep and feeding routines, but I'm sure her daughter is not better off because of it.

Better go to bed now... I'm sorry for rambling on... once I get started I find it hard to stop! Here's a bit of trivia about me... I once got offered a job as one of those typists in courtrooms because my typing speed was so fast!

Kristy... soooo good to hear from you!

FOOD~ I cook Kailah apple and pears for lunches (I freeze all her food in ice cube trays) and all sorts of veg for her dinners.
Pumpkin
potato
swt potato
beans
broccoli
zucchini
carrot
i think that's about it really, maybe some onion in there too. I then mash them either seperately and then freeze or mash them all together if I'm feeling lazy. She loves my cooking!

Well, Emily vomited all in her bed and on me tonight:barf: she woke up crying and coughed so I ran in and she looked at me and said mummy! then layed down and :barf: all over herself. then she sat up and looked at me a :barf: over me!
how nice! So in the shower we went, while DH cleaned her room up. I tried to clean it up but was dry reching from the smell.
TMI.... she vomited stuff up she ate yesterday... is that normal?
It stunk soo friggen bad!!!
Poor little pwincess.
I hope that is it fro the vomitting...I can't take much more!
Night all.

Kirsty I went to Myer too OMG they do target parents big time don't they we have some toys called Cotoons and they have some great bath toys, I had to drag my DP out of there!!

Shannon Man I wish I had bought that book when she was born lol if any of my friends have babies actually I do have friends having a baby in the UK I am going to get them that book it's working so well, so quickly! I would and never have done CC with Eliza I mean she has cried herself to sleep but only in the car and I have been on the freeway and there is no way I was going to stop and really no point as soon as I put her back she would of cried again! But at home no way Jose!
She was awake at 3.30 am this morning stroking my cheek and I opened my eyes and she was staring at me lol beautiful moment so we did get up have a bum change which I never do but she was so wet and then 20 mins later she was shhhh back to sleep fantastico!

well we're off to Kindermusik this morning! fun times thought about starting gymbaroo but have already missed 2 classes and they told me can still start but have to pay the full amount and skip the other 2 classes I would of done it if they had said OK just pay for 6 classes!

Hope we get to still do all this stuff in the UK I am getting very anxious about moving there!

I think coop is spending too much time with our cat - he has started purring! You know how you do the burrrr thing with your lips so it sorta sounds like a horse? He does that over and over so it sounds like he is purring, it is sooooo funny!

That book sounds great! Coop stayed until about 10 to 12 last night... he had a mini sleep at around 6 but then nothing until midnite!! he has had a growth spurt and is now 75cm long  so i dont know if growing so much would have something to do with his sleep routine? Thanks for the hints, will give it a try net time!! Hopefully i wont have to tho lol

Hi everyone,

How are we all this morning? I can finally say i know what you sleepless mummies feel like! Not as much as you guys go through but still. Abby woke up screaming at 5am this morning she was starving-nrmally sleeps from 11pm til 11am straight through . Ten she was up and ready to play at 7 i managed to keep her in bed until 8 so i could get my wits about me and now she is back to sleep. I think we are having a growth spurt :smiliedance:

I am so excited about tomorrow! Here's hoping we have a beautiful sunny day that is not too hot!

Hows Eliza's crawling going Nat? I didnt realise how dirty my floor was until abby started to roll around and want to inspect every bit of fuzz...i now want to vaccuum every 5 minutes

Eliza's crawling has stopped far out it must of been a one off she now seems to only crawl backwards or she moves like two inches and lays down lol

ah well that's OK

Nissa Eliza is constantly razzing she sounds like a cat too it's hilarious I love it :D

Kirsty we're moving to the UK at the end of January in the friggen depths of winter! I am thinking my accent will change again as well Some people think I am Australian but I think most pick my British Accent well some of the Sydney girls can verify that do I have a english accent sydney chicks?

FAR out Kate I can not believe Abigail sleeps that long!!! OMG what a dream!

last night E was in our bed I have no idea how many times she fed but I didn't wake up full so she must of been snacking all night LOL.

Well I am doing all the housework and some cooking today as I am darn well spending the whole day with you guys tomorrow and Friday I am going out as well so need to arrange everything now!

Kate, I could not handle Em or Kailah going to bed at that time of night! Nor getting up at that time! The day is half over!

Kailah usually goes down around 7pm and doesn't wake till around 7pm. She has done that for a few months now, and before that I was waking her to feed her late at night but gave that up.

I think they have forcasted rain for tomorrow but it's meant to be late 20's in temp sooo, ????

Anywhoo, best be off. Got some slings to post away. I made myself a gorgeous pink one with a pink striped pocket, I'll bring it to the meet tomorrow!

I had organised to go by train with another mum but she has pulled out now, bubby is still sick. She knew exactly where to go, so now.... I am going to be completely lost:( .
I am trying to see if there is anyone else catching the train in that can meet me at the station.... anyone here??? Kate? Krissy?

I hate going to places I know I am going to get lost in.... bloody hell!

Oh and AF is back with evengance!!! biartch! The pain today was unbareable, had to toddle off to my mum's and dose myself up with pain killers for a couple hours so I could get some relief. As soon as the girls go to bed I'm gonna take some more and go to bed myself. It's like full on labour pains sometimes. NOT fun at all!!!!!

Hey everyone!! Hope you girls had a great meet today!! Will have to come along next time i am in Sydney.... which wont be for ages, but still the thought is there lol

I had a chocfest today with a fellow bubhubbian... but we sorta forgot to eat the chocolate! Sad hey!!

Anyways... have decided NOT to move in with DP (i can finally use that term!!!!:smiliedance: ) But am moving to Brissy with mum to be close to my bro, stay there for six months and save like crazy and actually date before jumping in at the deep end!

Do you think it would be bad for cooper to go up to noosa every weekend? I just dont want him to be unsettled... i know with how much i moved around in the past, he would always be unsettled for a few days when we got back home (although was fine when we were away because he was so distracted). I decided not to go away again until we actually moved to get him back into his routine and stuff... Just not quite sure how to go about it...

Umm you know about that other thing that we 'put photo's on etc etc'... could someone please PM me the link for it cuz i cant get back there!!!! I did the full scan thing on my comp and deleted everything and i'll be buggered if i can remember what it is!!!!

OK better go and clean my house! It is a mess!!!!!

Hi everyone!

Had a great time at the meet today! Great to meet you today lunar! Wish we could have spoken more but definately next time. Oh and I cannot believe how much hair Kailah has! we're a bit self conscious of our little fuzz mohawk  The slings you make are great! How long can you keep babies in them for? I dont know if abigail would go well as she doesnt like being confined much but im thinking for bub #2!

Nat-how funny is it now our babies are interacting- i think if Abby had of had more sleep it would have been a two way ear fascination lol have the cutest photos. Dont have photobucket though so cant add a link unless i put them on abigail's website but i dont want to put pics of other bubs on abby's website without mums permission

I am physically buggered but my mind is sooo awake :banghead:

Take care everyone

I was shattered! And I live close by I would be totally dead if I had to of gotten a train or driven! I came on here about 5pm then that was it!

OMG I loved how the babies interract with each other, I can't believe Eliza's desperation to kiss Abigail  I dunno she's already a little rough eh kissing the girls stealing Matilda's toys, perhaps I need to enrol her in Karate instead of Kindermusik

Krissy I am bringing lots more toys next time so the girls can go wild on the rugs! You have such noice toys too well Eliza especially likes them lol..OOHHH I just remembered when she had that orange rattle and Abigail snatched it off her and Eliza yanked it back OHH that was very funny!! I just managed to make it home without being rained on! Though Matilda thought it was fantastic when the raincover went over the pram. She was like a bubble bubba!

Matilda has a thing with personal space for some reason. Hopefully playgroup will help her with that. Its only babies she gets weird around. Probly thinks they will take all her attention away. Maybe next time we can get them on blankets earlier before the grumbles set in.

Eliza loved matilda's toys and matilda loved eliza's. . lol . .You'd think they didnt have a million toys at home to play with. . noooooooo . .they want what everyone esle has of course!!

It was so much fun yesterday!. Soooooo many people . .can't wait for the next one!! Maybe I can con some more people into buying my cute little t-shirts . .:yelclap:

Nissa-so sorry thought i ahd already read your post and didnt read it yesterday! How far away would Coop be going every weekend? Maybe instead of it being un unsetling thing it could turn into a routine! I think good move on the dating first thing though! How exciting im so happy for you :yelclap:

Nat-Thanks will up date Abby's webpage today and let you know when I have or i can email you some pics if you like? I have no probs with you putting pics on your webpage

OH OH so excited i got an email from our modelling agency this morning saying they have sent Abigail's portfolio for a presentation for a job :fingerscrossed:

DH finally got to see Abigail's portfolio pics today and was like o wow she is just stunning it was so cute oh and Nat last night i found out that John is worse at buying things for abigail than I am. I remember you saying that your DP is shocking he wants to buy everything...John is exactly the same! you could have knocked me down with a feather. On the lus side though I saved so much on clothes at cotton on kids. Went to their half price rack and bought abby some some singlest, some skinny jeans (so cute) and some new summer pj's which are adorable will have to take a photo and put it on my website.

Anyway im still not awake slept so well last night but am buggered!

Just came on here for a vent  I have had trouble getting coop to bed the last few nights, and tonight i got him to sleep at his usual bedtime (:smiliedance:). Anyways, five minutes later there is a girl yelling 'this is what i do when i am drunk' followed by an extremely loud scream. Needless to say coop was awake and i am so incredibly pi$$ed off it aint funny! Cooper is now happily playing on the floor after his power nap . Grr they are still going, i know it isnt that late but it is just so damned annoying! None of them there would be over 18 and they are all drinking... bloody youths these days lol Am planning on getting up VERY early and playing VERY loud music lol... although will probably be too tired to do it lol

On a brighter note, cooper has learnt howto clap!!! He did it properly for the first time a few hours ago, it was so cool, he sits there and laughs when he does it, its so funny! He is also getting prett good at the 'commando' crawling... has been getting around the lounge room quite a bit today... kept having to put him back cuz he was getting into the kitchen and the floor is just too hard there for now lol

Anyways i better go and try and get this boy to sleep!!

Have a good weekend everyone!

Good morning! I'm going to take a break from bubhub for a while... spending way too much time here when I could be doing more productive things, plus I just got a warning from a moderator so I must have offended some people even though I felt my comments were not nasty or argumentative... I was merely asking a valid question. I will visit the other site though so talk to you there sometime. Bye for now!

talk to you on the other thread babyjoy hope all is well! it's hard to determine the way people are saying things on a forum. Not saying that thats what happened as i have no idea but yeh

Abigail had her first day back at swimming lessons today and loved it. WAs very naughty though ignoring the instructor and mummy but had a ball laughing at all the other babies. Splashing when she was supposed to be kicking kicking when supposed to be splashing. Was so funny.

My back is aching so bad from swimming lessons.Because its in a waist height pool i have to like squat and walk around on my toes the whole time! We have to pull the babies into the water and get them to crawl back onto the ledge. Abby gets half way up and decides to play with the grate! Or she struck a pose and smiled while everyone looked at her:laughing:  i have such a little poser!

I think im headed to the in laws tonight so yay will talk to everyone later! TakE Care All

Lovely to hear about your nite out Kris, you never want to go back to 'normal' movies after gold class do you? And  for the eternity ring, what a lovely pressie. Good luck with the interview too, let us know how you go.

I have been posting on the other site, couldn't get on here for ages, but now I have, gotta say something!!! Hope I don't double up on news for those that visit both.

I just put together the cutest gift for a baby shower, it's muslin wraps, socks, singlets, bibs, and some flowers, I rolled up all the clothes and made them look like flowers too, and put it all in a tin, it looks really nice, so I hope my friend likes it. I have lots of preggie friends due next year, and they will all be preggie through the hot summer, so glad it's not me, I remember suffering badly in the heat.

I am tired, even though I had a nanna nap this arvo with the girls. We have the complete season 6 of the sopranos on dvd, so I'm going to watch some more. Was so sick of trying to stay up till 1am on a Monday nite to watch it.

 nite!

Hi everyone, just wanted to give the two specil girls their own post  What is everyone up to today? Me I feel like total ****! Hoping im not getting a cold!

Nat-Abigail is going great with that magmag sippy cup! When do you move them up th the next stage? Is the spout squishy too? I think she would be ok if the spout was squishy as the other ones she has the spout is had and she tries to chew on them

Kris-Happy anniversary! Hope you guys have a great day and gad to hear you had such a great time at gold class! We love going gold class. The other day DH took me to the movies and said we couldn't afford gold class which would have ended up at $50 for both of us with unlimited popcorn and drinks and we ended up spending something ike $57 for normal tickets with a drink and popcorn. lol tink he will listen to me from now on!

:smiliedance: I am so happy for the rain but I really want to go out for a walk! I bought the women's weekly cookbook for babies and toddlers yesterday and am really keen to start cooking! Dh read through it and said wow so se can eat food now! um...yeh! No kate like real human fod like I could eat her food if I wanted lol:laughing:

Well as I type this Abby was giving herself a bottle but now is playing with the baby wipes so best go before I have none. Take care everyone BBL

Well DP managed to wake her up this morning and i haven't got her back to sleep yet :banghead: she always sleeps two hours so better go try and settle her AGAIN

Interview went well and I will hear either way on thursday.
I think I got it tho, it was a group interview so kinda sucked, but was good as I got to meet my competitions... and I'll tell ya know, they are stupid if they pick any of those twits over me! Half were bimbos and the other half were either fresh out of high school and still working at macca's or dole bludgers just filling up their interview books...lol, there was this one guy who had tats all up his arms and they said that he may have trouble getting a job b/c of them and if her did they would have to look into getting him a long sleave shirt, he didn't seem fussed at all and just said "hmmm, whatever." loser!

Anyways, better go to bed.
I have so much to do this week for our charity auction night this sat night. Can't wait! It's gonna be great, but will be really glad when its all over and done with. then we can start planning for next yr's one! aaaahhhh!
:hugs:
Oh, Nat~ Keira was born only 3 hours before Kailah, and in the next delivery room!
