Hi Karen
I'm just wondering what sort of snacks I can offer my 8mo DS. At the moment I give him yoghurt (plain, unsweetened) and pureed fruit. He also gets finger food: peanut butter on toast or rice cakes and fruit pieces (such as a mandarin).

What other foods are good to give my boy for snacks? I am very wary of trying not to overdo the fruit as he has quite a bit during the day and I don't want him having too much sugar.

Thanks for your advice

Jess

P.S. Thank you for your advice in my question "unenthusiastic eater". Things have improved for the most part as I am going solids before milk.

Hi Jess, that's great I am happy that my advice helped!! Other snack ideas include cheese sticks or cheese wedges, soft cooked vegetables like carrots, sultanas or other dried fruit, crackers and dip, raisin toast and custard, Also what you are currently giving him - yoghurt ( make sure it is whole milk yoghurt), fruit, toast, rice crackers are really good.
