Are these too odd for christmas?

Got inspired to be creative today and well... this is what i ended up with.. intended christmas gifts for people... however, not sure if they're good enough :rolleyes: they're bizarre!

opinions please ;) thinking i should stick to bought gifts hahaha! they're fimo with beads and a mirror behind! shall put magnets on the back

i liked the dolphin one the best! its really nice! not sure on the dinosaur one, maybe give it to a nephew or boy cousin (if you have nephews and boy cousins etc) or friend who has a boy maybe? hope this helps!! i know i couldnt make anything like that! im in no way any creative at all!

I say give them as presents. You took the time to make them. Its the thought that counts. If someone went to the effort to make me something handmade I wouldnt care what it looked like. Id be flattered actually.:thumbsup:

Lauz, I'm in awe! I like them both.....And despite what the others have said - I love the gekko! its so cute! I can't believe how talented and creative you are....

I'd give them as presents. And if I got someting like that from a friend or a family member, that they had obviously put so much time and effort into, and was sooooo good, I'd be really pleased! :yes:

I think that they're both fab!! I love the ape, the outlining is great and the giraffe. I also love the turtle and dolphin! I just think that the finishing touch has to be some way for it to be mounted- so that the kids' it ends up going to have a way to put them up straight away. I'd go to Bunnings and get some kind of 3M thing for the backs of them. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

They're fantastic! :yes: I like the second one best, but the gorilla/chimp in the first one is really good! I'm with pookiesossige, maybe put a hanger thing on the back instead of a magnet, then they can go straight in a kiddies room!

I'm still sort of undecided.. you have all been very supportive of my weird art- i find itt very hard to do "normal" looking shapes, i'm normally such an abstract person... i think i'll give them.. WITH something else that is normal ;)
