Who is going to be alone this new year?

My DH is working all New Year's Eve and i am going to be sitting at home with my DS, just wondering who would like to get together and celebrate the new year together, i know a few partner's work away and some dont have partner's, so let me know if you would be interested in doing something, maybe we can have a bbq at a park, and then come back here and have a few drinks, and nibblies???

My DH works on NY...not sure if its fair to come over with all 4 kids..seems like a big ask...maybe for the park bit..

Your idea is great and I'm sure plenty will be able to do it...I find forum's so frustrating sometimes..words don't always convey the intent quite right...

Lol dee, i agree aslong as i see it in with my boy i dont mind, even though my other boy wont be here :gloomy: But the pay for NY is too good to pass up.

I unfortunately have a family of about 100 so Christmas and New Years are always taken up years and years in advance! Don't want miss out on all the fun though so would love to come to the park (or whatever is chosen) late afternoon for a New Years toast with all you fantastic mums.

Haha Bron, i know what you mean. I would rather him be home with us, but that type of money can go along way!!

For sure it would be great having you guys up here aswell..
I am home all the time by myself, lol mostly at nights, thats why i hate not having a computer and having to borrow mum's!
