I am in Penshurst and am interested although i'm fairly new to all this and not sure how it all works, I am currently 15 weeks pregnant, would the group be for mothers who already have kids?

No not necessarily it's just an idea I guess to get out and meet other mothers or mums to be. I have found that I don't have much in common with my friends as they don't have kids. I think it's a quite common thing to happen.

I go to playgroup in Bexley, although I find it a bit close nit?

Grrr that sucks. I still haven't gone to a mothers group because I'm worried it'll be close nit. I'm shy as it is. There's a mothers group in Hurstville and Kingsgrove. Maybe ask you GP.

I was part of a mothers group in our last area, but since we have moved to a totally new suburb, I don't see them very often and very much miss catch up's with mummy friends...so if you want to have a chat, let me know

I would be very interested in a mothers group around Hurstville/Bexley area. I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant and don't really know many people in Sydney as I've only been here a year.

I'm a mum of a 2 year old daughter. We go to Playgroup at Penshurst. It would be great to see some new faces there, all are welcome. There are mum's (and the occasional dad) with children aged from a few weeks, right up to 5 years old.
Everyone is really friendly and welcoming. The address is 96 Penshurst St Penshurst in the Uniting Church Hall. It's 10am -12 every Friday. I'm actually the co-ordinator for the group, so please give me a call if you'd like some more info. The number is 1800 171 882.

We were actually on an outing last week, it was Playgroup's annual fun day at Carrs Park. We will be back at the hall this Friday if you'd like to come and join us. Also, if you use facebook, join our page and that should give you regular updates about what we are doing if we happen to have something special on that week. our playgroup meets for the first day back of term 1 on the 1st of Feb.
All are welcome including dad's, we already have a couple of regular dads. the address is The Uniting Church Hall 96 Penshurst Street Penshurst, and we meet at 10am - noon every Friday during the school term.
