My name is Swendy, and I am a 2nd year student midwife from ACU looking for another 11 generous expectant mothers from Melbourne to share their journey with me throughout their pregnancy. ACU's requirements are for us students to follow through 20 expectant mothers within the community throughout the course.
It involves me being in regular contact with you throughout your journey and attending some of your appointments, possibly attending your birth (optional) and after your birth. But it is not just limited to appointments, It could include shopping! Lunch, Phone calls etc.
It is completely up to you how much you would like me to be part of your journey, and my role is provide the woman and family support while gaining the life experience I need to become a great midwife! It is a completely voluntary program where you can pull out at any time.
