Hi all, I have been reading through threads over the past few weeks and been touched by the support out there. Therefore, I decided I shouldn't sit back any longer and just registered as a new member on bub hub this morning to seek and hopefully give back support and friendship to others going through IVF / Conception / Pregnancy.

About me:
in a same sex relationship of 13+ years
Brissie girl
no children, hoping too though :fingerscrossed:
completed 1st IVF stim cycle last week, ET last Fri
currently overwhelmed and excited whilst on 2WW :freakingout::hyper:
trying so much to remain positive for BT!!
It's going to be a long 2 weeks

Hi and welcome. Fingers crossed re your tww. I hope you get your bfp.

We are also trying. My DP is having her scans done Monday next week and then we see the fertility specialist on Wednesday next week to find out when we can go ahead with iui. I'm over the moon and can't wait. My DP is very excited to but is starting to have doubts about whether or not she will be able to have a baby given that she is now considered on the older side of things!

Anyway. Good luck with everything.

I hope you get your BFP this month! The TWW is absolute agony.
I'm currently 29 and a bit weeks, we fell pregnant first go of IUI with unknown donor sperm. Since then it has been one hell of a journey but we still feel very blessed everyday.

Hi catemer, thanks for welcome. I understand re 'on the older side of things' as I am nearing 39 - but I don't see myself as too old. We decided to give it our best and to try and remain positive as hard as that can be at times. Good luck to you and your partner. :)

Completely understand time going slow haha we tested everyday from about 6dpo. Even after we got our positive we tested maybe 4 times a day for a week lol luckily it's only a 2 week wait.
