Occasional Childcare options

Hi Perth People,
Does anyone know of an occasional childcare centre South of the River, preferably around Thornlie, Gosnells area?
I haven't been able to find anything other than Long Day Care centres.

hi i have 2 toddlers that i have put in the carousel occassional care on cecil rd cannington they called it there fun school is a really nice centre and staff is really nice but we moved to middle swan area so is to far to go now but they really loved it there sorry thats the only one that i know of..........

There aren't any :( At least I haven't been able to find any. I have previously used Wirrabirra occasionally for odd days when I've been desperate but they don't like doing it.

I now use a fellow mum who babysits for me as required and it's turned out fantastic (we've had this arrangement for a year and a half now). She has my youngest boy when I go to uni and when I need to go to meetings (I'm a Safety House co-ordinator & help run a playgroup so I have alot of meetings ). She also does my school pick up and drop offs if I need her to. (I pay her of course). This year she is also minding another little one occasionally so Sebastian now has a playmate when he goes to her house)

Maybe you could see if you could find a mum near you who'd be willing to trade babysitting with you or who you could pay for babysitting as needed?

There used to be an occasional care place in Maddington, I'm sure there was. I used to see a flier up on the notice board near Coles at Centro Maddington.

You could try searching on the National Childcare Accreditation Centre (NCAC) website (http://www.ncac.gov.au/Search/Search1.asp).

Nope the one in Maddington (it was on Kelvin road and shared it's building with a playgroup) closed quite a while ago now. The building has since been sold for redevelopment
