Is she pregnant?

My baby was 14 weeks old on Monday, Jo had a period on the 11th August and hasn't had one since, she done a pg test on monday and it was negitive. Does it take a while for cycles to return to normal?

Sometimes yes, sometimes No. Everyone is different. It sounds like she could be pregnant and the best way to find out is to do a test. My cycle returned to normal straight after DS#2.

Maybe she should go and get a blood test, then at least she'll know for sure :thumbsup:

Hello again and thanks for reply... She did a test a week ago and she thought there was a really faint line but wasn't sure. So she waited 3 days and tested again and it was negative but still no AF :eek: I suppose after 2 births iin less than 12 months things may just take a while to get back to normal or maybe not :D

Don't stress ID, it took ages for my cycles to come back to normal. And it has been different after each pregnancy. Good luck to you! Hope all is well over your way.;)

Don't stress to much ID, my boy is 22wks and I've had only one AF about 6-8 wks ago and a rather pitifall one at that. I've done about 4 or 5 HPT to see if I'm PG or not and it's driving me batty too. If she is BF she may not get them back regularly for up to 12 months. The whole baby baking and delivery shebang takes a lot out of a girl and seeing as though its 2 bubs in under 12 months her body is probably just giving itself a little holiday.

I wanted to say that if she is breast feeding they may not return until she quits breast feeding. I breastfed my babies and never had a period until I weaned them. It can take a while for things to be normal again, have her wait a few days and if her period don't come, then she should test again.

She breastfed Alysha for 8 weeks and has already had one period:confused:

ID......... I B/F DD till she was 8 months. I got my first period when she was 3 months old, then my next period 5 months later:eek: ! these things can happen, and I guess your body reacts diff to every pgy!

If she is sus maybe just get her to have a BT?
