View Full Version : Wedding invites and how many actually come.
Just wondering how many guestes you invited to your wedding and how many ended up being able to make it.
If I remember correctly, we had about 7 out of 100 guests. Most of those had too far to travel though.
146 of the 150 we invited came.
When I was planning our wedding, I remember getting told to expect approx 10% of people not coming as a general rule. We had 80 of 85 invitees come.
Around 70 I think. One person didn't come
We invited 121 and had 117 attend which was pretty good
I was told 10% don't come but don't believe that. Maybe for huge weddiings with
We invited about 77 and had 72 come. Although one of DH's friends RSVPed but forgot to come!

We invited 124, and they all rsvp'd a yes, though one couple didn't make it due to a funeral they had to attend :(
Not many of our guests lived more than five hours away though.
We invited 34 and 34 came to the wedding
Invited 85, 80 RSVP'd.
Invited about 60, 54 came - 2 told us on Facebook the day of the wedding they weren't coming after they RSVP'd yes.
Oh my! Another IPhone!
<3 DD - April 2011 <3
we invited about 42 and had 31 total
I would say roughly 5% of ours. We also had one cancel on the morning and two not show!! So we ended up with 98 guests.
We invited 49 and 46 came, the three that didn't were all from interstate. I think it would be safest to assume 100% of people local will come and maybe 50% of interstate people.
We also thought about doing two rounds of invites if we were going to invite a lot more, invite only what the room could accomodate (50) and then if everyone said yes we were full, if some people said no then we could invite more. Sounds a little cold but you always have people you absolutely want there (immediate family, besties etc) and then the rest of your friends.
I had a friend who invited HUNDREDS because their wedding was in Fiji, thinking that not many would come - almost everyone said yes!! They had to change venues..
