I was wondering how long your baby was in different sized nappies?
I use huggies and she was in newborns until maybe 2 months. Now in infant but she can fit into crawlers as well.
How long do they stay in crawler size?
TIA!

It all depends on your bub - Crawlers are 10 to 15 kgs ( I think?). DS1 is 26mths and still fits into them where as DS2 is 5mths and has been in them for a good month already. DS1 was 8pd9oz and DS2 was 10pd6oz. Hope that helps if you look at the scale in the blue book for their progressive weight. (They were both curving on the line as per their starting point if that makes sense.)

It all depends on how fast the kid grows. My kid always wore a bigger size than what it said on the box. So if the huggies nappies said they fitted up to 15kg, by 12kg he was in the next size up as I found they smaller size always leaked.

My DS2 is still in crawler (6-11kg) and he is 25 months. He will be toilet trained before he grows out of them- but he is tiny, only 9.8kg now. DS1 was 13 kg at 2yo and in the 10-15kg size (walker/toddler?) and didn't get to the next size.
By comparison a friend who's DS is the same age as my DS2 is almost 19kg, and in the biggest size. :D

DS went out of crawlers at 4 months. He started using Junior at 10 months. But we dont use disposables often. I am mainly a cloth nappy user. Though when Im out and about, I sometimes take disposables along.

I personally think they must base their nappy sizes on babies living in a pygmy village in Africa somewhere because DS was too big for Crawlers before he could crawl, too big for Toddler size before he turned 1 etc etc. Depends on the baby. That said, the weight range doesn't match up either to my mind. Walkers are meant to be 13-18 kg and DS is about to be too big for them and he isn't close to 18kg yet.
