Hi

I was wondering if anyone could recommend swimming/water lessons anywhere on the north side for babies? I couldn't find much info online, except that dickson starts lessons from 3 years old.

A bit out of your way, but Queanbeyan Aquatic Centre does brilliant lessons from 6 months.

Kings Swim School Macgregor do 'lessons' from a young age, but is more focused on water safety and making swimming fun if that makes sense? Its lots of singing and playing and splashing. Actual lessons start at 3 years of age. They are pricey-$16 a lesson but you can start all year round, unlike CISAC which have terms from memory. My kiddies loved it and had a ball. They also do a free introdutory lesson which is great to see if its a fit for you and bubs.

My friend goes to something called Aquatots (or Aquabubbas?) in Forde. Sorry I can't provide any more info than that!

Sorry, should have mentioned she has been going for a few weeks and her ds is only 3 1/2 months so they can start there at a young age

We used to go to the big swim school at Belconnen. Club Blue, Club Lime etc.

I just signed my DS (2.5yrs) at AIS, but they don't do babies (only over 1) - $135 for 10 weeks, but did look into the aquatic centre in Belconnen and they do baby lessons - $14.50/lesson
