finger nail biting

i have a 3.5 year boy that wont stop biting his nails. tried stop and grow but he has got use to the taste, any suggestions please help so over it

I have a 3 year old that does this too, he bites them until they bleed :( and i still can't get him to stop. I have no suggestions but could do with a few tips myself on how to stop him doing it if anyone has ideas too? thanks for starting this thread!

According to my fam I have bitten my nails since I had teeth- they tried the stop-n-grow stuff too.. What about a reward system? Or is that a no-no? I have no idea, sorry. Every now and then i stop for a few weeks (a couple of months is the longest)- but I always start up again :( DH has bitten his nails his whole life too- to the point where they nail stops almost a cm before the tip of his finger. We must be anxious people or something!
