Christening - What did you choose to wear?

Hi everyone,

My little ones christening is coming up in October and already she has her outfit ready to go:-)
We're having it at the Anglican Church with mainly family and a few close friends. Keeping it pretty low-key.

But I was curious to know what the Mums chose to wear to their bubs christening?

I'm having a hard time deciding - as I usually do!! LOL.

I wore a dressy summer singlet with a pretty skirt with strappy sandals and hubbie dress pants and nice polar t-shirt (it was middle of summer). It was held in my priest chapel in his house so it wasn't a very formal big ceremony. Here are a couple of piccys.

I wore black dress pants with a a two-piece tie top. The cami top was a nice pink and the chiffon over top had a pale pink flower print on it. With black strappy shoes. Bugs christening was in the Uniting Church and was christened C of E so it was nice and low key with everyone going out to lunch afterwards

We had our DD baptised at home in our garden with my DH's family minister doing the ceremony. I wore nice black 3/4 length pants and a nice dressy pink top with sleeves.

We had DD baptised in our Presbyterian Church. I wore nice dress and high heels, husband wore suit - middle of summer but thems the rules in our family :yes: We then had luncheon in a restaurant so he was able to take off his jacket and tie (see I am not a bully all the times!)

DS was christened at the end of April- I wore a nice Cue button up top and skirt and nice high heels. DF wore a suit.

DS also wore a pin stripe suit! He's not looking at the camera cos he wanted his grandpa to hold him!

We just had Coopers on sunday. I wore a dress and little heels and h2b wore dressy pants and collared shirt. Nice but not to dressy
