MIDWIFERY STUDENT adelaide seeking pregnant women

Hi,

My name is Caitlin, I am currently undertaking a Bachelor of Midwifery at Flinders University and as a part of my education I need to follow 30 women through their pregnancy. As a midwifery student I am there to observe but mainly I am there to support, develop a one-on-one relationship and to provide you with [I]continuity of care. As a student I will come to antenatal appointments, act as a support during labour, and also visit you within the 6 weeks after the birth.

It doesn’t matter what model of care you are with (obstetrician, midwife, GP), or how many weeks pregnant you are. All your information is kept confidential, and YOU are in charge. You can change your mind about having a student at any time. A student is there to support you.
