View Full Version : I only get nausea if i dont eat when im hungry - is anybody else the same?
I'm 7.5 weeks and only just started ms bout 1 week ago. I find however that I only feel nausea if I don't eat when I'm hungry. I think it must be my blood sugar levels dropping too low. So just trying to eat something every couple of hours. Luckily so far I'm only nauseas about 2 days this week but it hangs around for hours :-(
Is this normal? Is anybody else feeling the same way?

Congratulations!!
I am 14w tomorrow and am like that. It's definitely getting better, but if I don't eat in a couple of hours my ms is really bad!

Thanks so much everyone! It's so good to share.
So far I haven't puked so fingers crossed I might get through without!
Just counting down the weeks now till first scan, hoping everything is ok.
Hi - this is completely me also. Am trying to get through it with little snacks and herbal teas when i feel it coming on. B4 pregnant I thought I would be sick once i ate! So bizarre -

I was the same with both my pregnancies. Got worse in the last trimesters. I put on so much weight :p

Noooo!! Was really hoping this was going to get better!!
I'm the same as you OP need to constantly eat to keep the nausea at bay - I'm gonna end up the size of an elephant at this rate!!
I didn't really get MS, however I did feel slightly nauseous when hungry, so I kept eating sultanas & they worked. It was so mild I didn't cotton on I was pregnant (just thought it was blood sugar low, because I was hungry) until I was about 19 weeks & by then it had stopped anyway. I only gained 6kgs so don't worry too much.
