View Full Version : First Fluffy Mail Has Arrived

I was a little surprised when my door-bell rang at 7:30 this morning but when I answered it it was the best surprise of all. After about 3 weeks waiting I FINALLY got my first ever fluffy mail!!:smiliedance:

I ordered a Trial Pack from Baby Beehinds and I am now the proud owner of 1 hemp and 1 bamboo nappy, 1 hemp and 1 bamboo booster, 1 PUL and 1 wool cover, and 5 cloth wipes. They are soooo lovely and I just cant wait to have a baby bum to put in them.

Of course I am now totally addicted (as I have been warned I would be) and today I ordered a Trial Pack from Green Kids, so sometime soon I should be receiving 2 nappies (1 Anytimes and 1 Funtimes with Pooh on a windy day) 1 medium and 1 large hemp prefold and 1 Microfible booster.

Now I must restrain myself for the next 18 weeks until bubs arrives.:eek: I want to try these out and find out what works best for us before forking out on any more. Hmmm... we'll just have to see how long that lasts.:laughing:

I'm glad to hear I'm not alone in trying the nappies on the teddy (haven't done it yet though).:p

Can i ask what payment method you used for GK's ? Mine took a good few weeks to be sent out.

All these fluffy mail threads are making me want to order more :o *tries to refrain self* Soon DH will email every single modern cloth nappy website and put out a "Do not sell to this person" warning!

I paid with a credit card via PayPal so I don't know if that made it quicker. Also I think they must have recently re-stocked because there was more available than last time I looked at their site so maybe thats why it was so quick?

isnt fluffy mail the greatest? wait til bubs is actually here to put them on, you'll be really hooked then hehe :D

I actually did the teddy bear thing also!! I used it to practice doing folds with the flats, and to see how the other nappies would fit... not that I think it really correlates with a baby in the flesh! Gotta fill in the time some how!

Not long now til I get to try them (although, I am so NOT looking forward to those meconium poo's... :barf: )
