well ds1 is going to hopefully start swimming lessons soon so my question is what do boys his age wear in the pool
he is in sz0 in some things and sz1 in others and wears the walker size huggies nappies.
do i get him a rashi top and speedo bottoms or buy a swim nappy? or a one piece?

I would go definately with the swim nappy:yes: And it's up to you about the top but a rashie or just a normal top for him to wear should be fine.

By him wearing a top it will help you grip onto him better;)

Lot's of the PUL 'cloth' nappies can be used as swim nappies.

Here are 2 I can think of:

You can get washable/reusable ones from places like Rebel Sport and A-mart. They work out a lot cheaper than the disposable swimmers. They are just like normal swimmers but they have a liner in them to hold in any "accidents".

Obviously you need some sort of swim proof nappy underneath but my MIL bought my DS a really cute swimming costume from Target today (in a size 0, but it came in the larger sizes too). It is a rashie top and matching pair of little shorts, and its navy and aqua with a picture of a frog on the front. Its so cute!
