Dearest Katelyn,
You weren't my child to lose, though I miss you more and more as each day goes by. I think about you regularly and I hope in time we will meet again. Your mother is being strong and is slowly moving on, but i know deep down she is still hurting more then words could describe. I can't believe it has been 3 years, where did that time go. I have 2 precious boys now, I wish you could have met. I cherish the photos I have of you with Mr K. It's still so hard to believe that you are gone, even after so long.
I want to share this poem with you,
In my home there is a photo,
of a face more precious than gold.
And to those who love and lost you,
your memory will never grow old.
Today i look at your photo,
at your face so loving and true.
No wonder my heart is breaking,
losing someone special like you.
But each day you walk beside me,
and when my life is through.
I pray that god will take my hand,
and lead me straight to you.
Just know you are always in my thoughts, i cherish every memory I have with you and that someday we will meet again, until then, I love you.
