Ive just weaned DS(8 months) to formular and just have a question. I made him a bottle (warm) and he didnt want it, Can i keep it in the fridge overnight and give it to him for his morning feed??

Hi,

I am by no means any type if expert, but my opinion is that I wouldn't reheat something twice (but in saying that I remember a nurse one advising to throw what's left in a bottle out after 45 mins which I would assume that you could reheat in that 45 mins...?) and if he had had some of the bottle, his saliva will be inside the bottle and his saliva will start to break down the milk in the bottle, so for this reason I wouldn't feed it to him again...

From what i know if you make it up cold and keep it in the fridge but once it has been heated you should throw it out.

We have just moved to formula and were told it can keep for up to 4 hrs once made up but u can't reheat it. With my bubs he is ok with drinking it cold so we don't have to worry us it's rare he won't finish his bottle :)
