Hi all! I'm 20 years old, recently found out I'm expecting :) due date is 13th of march. Just wanted some advice from 6-7 month pregnant ladies, or anyone who has had a child. My partner & I did a road trip from Melbourne to byron bay last christmas/new years. ever since we got back, we have been planning on returning this year.. & have been super excited. Now, I'm expecting, & will be about 6-7 months when we plan our trip. We go in our van, sleep in the back every night (comfy bed, everything you need) & live an easy life for 2-3 weeks. We usually spend about 5 hours driving every day, bit can be a bit less or do more stops. My question to you all is, what are your thoughts on doing this when I am 6-7 months pregnant? Will it be too uncomfortable? Can it cause complications? Will some of the remote locations be a problem? I would really appreciate answers & advice!

You'll be fine! It'll be fun by the sounds of it... I'm very jealous!

I did a road trip at 34 weeks (i moved 14 hrs away) So we drove 14hrs there in a truck and 14hrs back. Did it straight... I just needed to wee a little more frequently so we stopped whenever but that's okay, makes for a more relaxed trip! I had no complications other than a sore back from sitting in the truck :-) Depends on how your pregnancy is going tho... if you find that the pregnancy doesn't go so smoothly, perhaps you might like to plan it for next year instead. You'll know what you feel up to

Naget, thanks so much! You've put
my mind at ease. It's all I really want to do, as it relaxes me & is my "happy" place, & at that far along, I think is what would keep me happy & relaxed. I also want bub to visit this special place, even if he/she wont technically be there ;)!! Thank you :) :)

By the way, 14 hours straight is crazy! I can't imagine sitting in a car for that long, let alone while pregnant! Brave woman!!
