I have 2 littlies who will be beginning prep in the next couple of years and I would really like to start setting up where I would like them to go to school now as we want to organise to move within the catchment area of the school we choose asap. Currently we are looking at Gumdale Primary. Has anyone had much to do with this school or heard any reports about it? Can anyone recomend sny other good primary schools that we should look into on the Southside only? We are only looking at State Schools for Primary at this stage. Thanks

Have heard lots of great things of Gumdale. My friend is a teacher there. Mine go to Ormiston state school its such a nice school and there community atmosphere is great She will be going to faith Lutheran college for grade 7.

Re: gumdale... My nephew goes there and my sister LoVeS it! I'm from a family of teachers so very picky about schools! In fact- hubby and I are looking at moving house just so DD can go there when shes school age!

Hi Gals,

Im in the same boat, thinking of primary schools for my oldest. Ive only lived here for a few months and hubbie & I are also willing to move to be in the area for a nice school. Any tips or have you heard anything about Wynnum West? Gumdale isnt far & I DO love the area with all the new housing going up. I imagine in 5-10 years it'll be quite built up around there.

xx, Kristi
