Not sure if this is the right place for this, put it here though because it could be related to his hydronephrosis.
This is what Jacobs back looks like...........

It has looked like that for a couple of years now, we asked a GP about it last year when we took him to get some warts burnt off, but he didn't seem too concerned about it. But it didn't look as bad then, it's just gotten bigger and redder over the past couple of weeks.
Pete took him to the Dr after school yesterday and he said that it looks benign (!!!!!!!) but he has never seen anything like it before. he even took a couple of photos of it as it is so strange. We are wondering if maybe it is something to do with his kidneys......but he hasn't been sick or complaining about them hurting or anything.
So the Dr is sending him for some blood tests, I looked up the abbreviations this morning. He is doing a full blood count, an ESR test (which looks for cancer/inflammation/auto-immune diseases), a liver function test and a kidney function test (urea, creatinine and electrolytes).
I'm hoping it isn't anything serious, I couldn't imagine anything happening to him. :(
