Hi all
I know there have been previous discussions on this, but I am about to move back to Australia to have my baby and am hoping for some current info. I have to choose between these three hospitals. Unfortunately Cabrini are booked out so I am torn between Jessie Mc and Waverely. Waverely can guarantee a private room which is nice....but am not sure what the standard is. Any feebback appreciated.
:)
Thanks
Claire

:) Hello there,

Hope you are still about to check on the results, its been a few days since the post but just saw it!

I went to Waverley private for my DS - he was my first- and they were AWESOME!! I was admitted early with pre-eclampsia - and so ended up having a caeser - all the staff were great from the get-go- my DH and I went to the parent information nights beforehand and the classes- they were also great......when we have our second ( fingers crossed for next year sometime!) - I will definitely go back there!

Hope this helps, its hard to choose and word of mouth is best I think,

Jen

I have had operations at Mt Waverly and they were so professional.

Carbrini is a fantastic hospital too - but parking it not good because its all off street and its very busy.

Feel free to PM if you want to ask me anything about my exp

Hi all

Still struggling with the decision between Jessie Mc and Waverley but I appreciate your comments. Am leaning towards Waverley cos at least I can have a private room there....but was just hoping they are as medically competent as Jessie Mc seem to be.

Thanks again
Claire

DD is dear daughter DS is Dear Son and DH is Dear Husband, DP is Dear Partner.

I have heard good things about Waverley and My OBS delivers at all three and I can;t imagine him delivering somewhere that is not great!

Hi There again

Just read your last post - in regards to medically competent - my waters broke at 35 weeks and dd arrived the next day - they dealt with it in a fantastic way and she was looked after in the SCN for a week - the midwives were fantastic!!!
