Washing MCN's before use... Question??

I have read in plenty of places that MCNs need to be washed a few times to get to their optimal absorbancy. It might sound like a silly question, but does this mean they need to be washed AND dried a few times? Or just washed? I have looked in a few different places but haven't been able to clarify.

I didn't dry mine between washes. I just put them on for 3 cycles in row and that was all the pre-washing I did. They will build up to maximum absorbency over the next few washes after that.

But i only wash once and then didnt expect them to hold as much for the first few wears !

Just wash and spin :) I usually do mine for 2-3 loads first up, then only use them during the day for the first week so they get changed frequently.

Thanks all! I might do three cycles and then do frequent changes for the first few uses.
