need some advice on weening

i need some advice on weening my daughter, she is 3 months and i tried her with a bottle and she refused the formula, i bought heinz starter and she spat it out. could it be the formula that she doesnt like as she drinks breastmilk out of a bottle. what should i do?

I had trouble weaning my DS2 (he too bluntly refused the bottle every time over a two week period - not even breastmilk from a bottle), tried several different formula's till we found the right one - best to use the single pack serves from Chemist's to save buying a big tin that may only go to waste.
I tried by dropping the last feed before bed (bottle or nothing). On the first night he screamed the house down, 2nd night the same, but on the 3rd night he skulled it like there was no tomorrow (I held the bottle and him close to my breast, because he is very cuddly and that seemed to work also)..................

thanx i might try a different formula and hopefully she will like one of them i want to start with a comp feed at night as she used to sleep all night but now wakes up at 3 or 4 but i dont feed her then i just put her dummy in and she usually goes back to sleep but i think she is waking up cause she is hungry. i hope it all works i got so used to sleeping all night again it kills me to have a broken sleep now.
