First Time Young Mums?????

Hi there everybody,

My name is Bec and I am 25 years old, I live with my partner but am not married and I am going to be a mum for the first time in April 2006!!!!! I am so excited about it but I am also quite nervous as it's my first.

I was wondering if there were any other mums out there that are in a similar position or are going to be first time mums as well. Also if anyone lives on the Gold Coast and wants to get together that would be great as well. I live in the Benowa area so it's quite close to everything.

My friend had a baby 8 months ago and her little one is beautiful and I love her to bits and she has been a great pillar of strength for me. But my friend, her husband and little one are actually going overseas to America and I am going to miss her dearly as she is always asking about my pregnancy and how I am going. SO I need someone else or a group of you who can help me out!!!

If anyone would like to email me that would be great, but please bear with me as I am new to this website and it might take me some time.

Hi Bec,

welcome to the bub hub. I am also a first time mum to be, I am 29 yrs old but I live in Perth WA. There lots of girls on this site which are in the same boat as us, so there will be plenty of people to chat to and draw advice from. I'm dure on the 5th of may 2006, and so far so good. I have been getting lots of morning sickness and feeling very tired but apart from that all is ok.

Hi Bec! I am 25 and was a first time mum but my boy is now 3. How the years fly!! I live with my partner in Runaway Bay and we are not married either. I'm new to the Gold Coast, am 25 years old and live with my partner and 4mth baby girl in Miami. I don't even know where Benowa is :rolleyes: but would love to meet new mums and soon to be mums as I'm a bit of a hermit at the moment.

Sorry everyone to tell you this news but I have unfortunately lost my little boy Ethan on Thrusday 20/10/05. I went for a scan at 12 weeks and they saw that the Fluid was 10mm behind his neck so therefore had to do a CVS (that's how we found out the sex).

The results came back fine and that everything should be fine just have to go back in 3weeks time when I should be 15.5weeks to check on the growth. SO we were over the moon and decided to call our little angel Ethan!!

When I went for the scan there was no heartbeat! I couldn't believe it as I had no probelms during my pregnancy (no sickness, no pains, cramping or bleeding). I then went it for a D&C that afternoon and by the night I was in my own bed crying and crying and crying. My poor 23 year old partner didn't know what to do either as he was hurting and seeing me hurting hurt him more.

Hi bec. I am a sort of new to the gold coast. I have a three year old son. I know what you mean. When I was prepnant, I didn't eally have anybody at all and it is really hard. I live in Ormeau with my boyfriend and the kids. Feel free to email me sometime if you would like to chat or catch up
