By dd is 2.7mnths and has been day tt'd all year and doesn't wear a nappy for her day sleep. My problem is with night time, if I put a nappy on her she will stay dry and even wake up in the middle of the night to wake me and tell me she has to go to the toilet, but if I don't put a nappy on her she wets the bed. I have tried her with nothing but her pj's on and I have tried her with undies on, but it doesn't seem to make any difference, she still wets the bed. If she wakes in the middle of the night for the toilet, I don't put her nappy back on and she seems to go through until the morning dry. She tells me that she doesn't want her nappy on but I don't want to be changing and washing her sheets everyday. Any suggestions on what else I can do?
Maybe she just needs an incentive to stay dry with nickers throughout the night? Perhaps buy a couple of things she'd like, put them up high but in view. After one dry night with nickers she gets #1, after a week she gets #2 etc. Building up to something a bit bigger and more exciting after a fortnight.

:detective: i had the same problem with my 1dd, she used to wet the bed at first when i was training her for night times, at first she used to wet all the time, then i cut out drinks after tea time, and made sure she did a wee before bed, and also got her up at certian times to do a wee, this went on for a a few weeks, and then she finally was dry! she hated wearing nappies once she was toilet training, so she liked wearing knickers which was good! anyhow, maybe reward her with something each time she wakes up dry? toy, or sticker, or something else that she would really like. hope this helps:fingerscrossed:

thanks for you replies. We went back to trying dd sleeping in her undies, which she wanted to do, and we have had 3 dry nights in a row, so I think she will be fine now, she tells us no more nappies. Again thanks for your help, I think I will have to have some sort of reward for her for doing so good.:smiliedance:
