I'm not really sure where to put this post. Anyway I was just wondering how long it takes to get your period back after you stop breast feeding? I stopped b/f about 2 months ago and still don't have it. I have been told this is normal. Just was wondering cause we want to have another baby next year.
hmmmm well I'm still breastfeeding and I got my period back 5 months after my baby was born! So I guess everyone is different.....

Yeah, I must be another anomoly - I got mine back when DD was 6 months old, just as we were introducing solids. She was exclusively breastfed until then....I've had one every 31 days religiously since. DD is now 15 months old.

I had to cut down to one feed a day and got my first AF less than a month after and then fell pregnant straight away:smiliedance:

I got mine 7 weeks after DS was born ( 2 weeks after post-partum bleeding stopped) and I was exclusively bfeeding. Personally I believe I was ripped off big time!

I got mine back about 5 weeks after I stopped breastfeeding. I was led to believe that AF would arrive right away after I stopped, but obviously that was not true. We all must take different amounts of time to get back to normal after having bubs.
