Anyone been to Peninsula Private Hospital?

TTC#4 and am thinking of using up my private health insurance and going to Peninsula Private. Can anyone tell me about their experiences there and if possible, recommend a good obstetrician who doesn't change the earth and is the sort to 'tell it like it is!'?

Peninsula Private is wonderful. Very very comfortable and friendly.

Admittedly I had my son 6 years ago now, but also I had a non-pregnancy related operation there last year, and the doctors and staff are fantastic.

If I am lucky enough to have another bub, I will definitely go back there.

The OB that delivered both my kids has since retired, so i'm sorry I can't help you out there.

Hi Ruth,

I had my son at PPH nearly 5 years ago. The care was great and the actual rooms are very nice. I used Dr Jenny Picking to deliver my son, I take it you are local when I was seeing her see had rooms in Langwarrin and Frankston. The cost as far as I can remember was only about $200 out of pocket. Hope all goes well for you.
