View Full Version : Finally found faults with Green Kids!
Ok so Green Kids have been my nappy of choice since I ventured into the world of cloth around 3 months ago (feels like a lifetime, may have been less!) I love my Green Kids and couldnt fault them really and couldnt understand why people 'strayed' forever on the hunt for a better nappy! Well now I know why......the weather has been a little warmer over the past few days and DD has been wearing just a nappy and t-shirt when she naps and riipppppp off comes the nappy! DD is starkers lying there in her cot laughing because she ripped the nappy off....right now she is sitting in her high chair ripping and sticking, ripping and sticking.....mind you I would probably have the same prob if she had a huggies on too, just my DS never went thru the taking nappy off stage....sooo conclusion, she needs snap closure nappies for summer! Also, when washing, does anyone have probs with the velro coming undone and sticking to the inner? Mine look terrible now on the inside, all pilling because the velcro constantly comes out of the wash stuck to it....any tips?

Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I only have 2 GKs at the moment and love them (desparately trying to save to buy more!) and thought with summer coming up it would be good to show them off!!!

I am relieving myself of my GK's for that very reason. Yesterday, K ripped his nappy off and there was sh!t everywhere :barf:

I've taken to putting a pair of kids undies over the top. So far its worked
Velcro doesn't well with us. A few times my baby takes the velcro off or it just comes off by himself. And I did pick him out of the cot last week to meet with a naked bum! So can't trust velcro - may be better with a younger bub. I still like the Green Kids, but 2 is enough - don't need anymore.

My two boys haven't figured out how to yet.... Although DS1 has started to "rip" the valco off the BBH PUL Cover.... but then I put shorts over the top and he doesn't think about it again until it is change time again!

bella can take hers off too, thankfully chooses to just play with the tabs not pull it off tho
hey :)
Jack has discovered the velcro .. but I have a few pairs of really short shorts for him .. and when he starts fiddling I throw them on him (it doesn't help that he has also discovered his penis .. so he has motivation to get that nappy off!!!)
- babytoo - with the velcro .. I have found that if I push the velcro FIRMLY together before the wash it holds better... I only have the occasional one jump around on my now ..
