paediatrician for upcoming birth in August

Hi Everyone,

I am 33 weeks pregnant and having my second bub at the mater Mothers private brisbane. Can you choose your own paediatrician has anyone done that or can anyone recommend one. My last birth i didnt have a nice paediatrician at all and this has lead me to do more research this time around.

Any feedback or suggestions is much appreciated.

Tony Prado - fantastic. Had him for both my childrens births. Am still seeing him for my 20month old. He has always answered phone calls and emails when we have an issue no mattet how minor. Came to ward when daughter was admitted just to check how we BOTH were. Listens to all concerns - has given us confidence that issues will be resolved. Cannot say a negative word about him. Midwife at first born birth said we were lucky to get him - great doctor and great reputation with many midwives and nurses requesting him for their children. Goodluck!

thanks for the feedback rubymay. Does anyone have any feedback for any of these pedictricans as these are the ones that work out of the mater private.
