hoping someone can help!
i had my 4th child 6 months ago and for months ive been getting this terrible intermittent pain in the left side of my groin (although it feels as if its deep within my thigh). some days it feels like a dull ache, other days its a stabbing/throbbing pain. it even makes me walk with a slight limp and if i move my leg a certain way i can feel something grind.
has anyone else had this?

I haven't but I know a friend who had the same thing a couple of months after her bub was born. It happened more when she exercised ie. Jogged or walked for lengthy periods. Could just be the pelvis relaxing after all that stretching as a result of hormones during pregnancy. This condition is called Symphisis pubis disfunction (SPD) and women can get during and after pregnancy - the pubic bone separating. This could be what you are describing?

OMG I LOVE YOU!!!!! I have the exact same thing -- I was going to go to a physio because it's just not going away (I gave birth 7 months ago). I walk quite a bit and it feels like a bad groin strain.
So what now? Do they just go away with time? I'll have to Google it. Thank you SO much for giving it a name :goodvibes:

wow thanks! :D it sounds like it could be that, my 4th was a good sized bub (9.3lbs) and it was a mission just to walk while preg with him and it always felt like my pelvis was seperating. thanks again!

No worries!
I'm sure if it's really worrying you, you could go to the dr there might be something u could take to ease the pain :) I think I had the same pain but quite mild a month after birth and it went away on it's own
