Hi all you wonderful 30+ mummys
I am just wondering at what age you are going to stop having babies, i am currently pregnant with number 5 and im 35 years old:thumbsup: I have 3 teens from a previous marriage and 1 miracle ivf bub to my new hubby (well not so new we have been together 13 years  ) but now we are having another lil miracle soon too and he is wanting me to keep trying on ivf for as long as we have emby's left :ecomcity: :ecomcity:
so what age would you say NO MORE?

Congratulations!!

Since I am 31 my decision to stop will be based on the number of babies as opposed to my age! I would like a least 2 and possibly 3. More would be difficult both financially and emotionally! I was one of 4 - which was great - but a bit chaotic. My mum loved having 4 so each to their own I say!

Everyone knows the risks get higher after 35 but not massively so! I have friends in their late 30s, early 40s who are trying with no success. Their concern is GETTING pregnant! One already had an age related ecttopic so I guess that is one of the age related risks right there. She lost a fallopian tube but it could have killed her!

U keep going as long as you want!!

Congrats on your new pregnancy.

I am 36yrs old and have a 16yr old, a 8 yr old and a 17mth old.
We have decided that 3 is enough for us. Maybe if my dd had of been a ds I might of thought about having another one.Having a baby when I was 35 was certainly more tiring. I don't think I would like to have any more at an older age.
Just me though.

I am thirty five. I thought I had stopped at 29 but it seems that bub had other plans. The reason we weren't going to have any more was due to the fact that we had my pigeon pair and that was enough for us. Age I think really depends on how fit you are and how your body physically would cope with more pregnancies.
I agree with lucas'mum, U keep going as long as you want!!
or can

:smiliedance: I say keep going as long as you feel happy, content and physically able! I have three boys and would just adore a little girl but my hubby says no, you are soooo lucky to have the support of your husband so you go girl! I'm stuck in limbo at the moment, I'm unable to move forward into the next phase of my life because I want to try for a girl and I worry that will never happen. You will know in your heart when enough is enough but until then if you're happy, your husband is happy and your babies are healthy then there's nothing to worry about.:yelclap:

I turned 37 one week before my son was born. I was only going to have one but now I want two, so in a couple of years we will have another one.

I want a bit of a gap between my children so I can enjoy each one as an individual. So I will be at least 40 before we have the next one, probably 41.

I was 31 when my DD was born 14mths ago. I would like one or two more children and I am hoping to have my last child when I'm around 35yrs old. Personally, its up to the individual, if you feel strong and healthy keep going

i was 37 when i had my son and i'm now 39. i'd love to have another but i'm seriously tired all the time and lack energy. i'm not sure i could do it all again. if i'd started earlier in life i would have had more.

I will be 35 in December, and i'm hoping to conceive bubby #3 before then. I still feel like I'm 30 (although the mirror is telling my otherwise).
If you've got the love, patience and desire for more children, I say go for it.

I'm 31, and just had #1! Hubby said if we have a girl next, we can stop. lol But we'll stop after three, for sure. He's almost 9 years older than me so he's more wanting to stop so he's "young enough" to enjoy them when they're little.

after 5 boys, number 6 was a girl... no more for us.. I'm 33 now. Its nothing to do with age but how your body feels. I know mine is worn out, I couldnt go through another pregnancy.

I'm 30 and plan on having 1 more baby before I'm 35. I say go for it as well.

GOOD luck and enjoy it.
