View Full Version : Car seat pee pad thingies?
Ds has now had 2 massive car seat accidents, now I have to try and clean the upholstery as it's full of wees. Boo!
Anyway some time ago I thought I saw something on an mcn site which was like an absorbant pad to put in the car seat...does anyone have any ideas where I might find one? Also can I get something to put under it?

I saw pee pads at Bubs baby shop! I'm not sure where you are and if you have a Bubs but I'm sure most baby shops would have them. They were like the car seat protector you have under a car seat but with more lining and length.

I have some kiddipotomus(sp) ones that sit in the actual carseat that I used with DD they were pretty good but not sure how much they would hold!
perhaps a cheap cot mattress protector might be the way to go (under the whole carseat) not pretty but better than nothing!

I'm pretty sure I've seen them at Toys 'R' Us too Pregnor. I am needing one for DD as she's pretty much toilet trained during the day, but I'm too scared to take her in the car for more than a short little trip without putting a pull-up on her.
I made a new car seat cover for one of our car seats a few years ago, so I was thinking I could maybe make a pee pad thing too. Not sure what I'd make it out of though.. Maybe I could get a cheap changemat (the thin fold-up ones), cut it up, sew it nicely and add a few layers of nice material on top to absorb the pee.
If anyone else has some better ideas I'd be very appreciative! And Pregnor if u find a good one let me know too, would save me trying to sew one! =)
I've seen a couple on line now, but thanks I might look at toys r us once I get it back in the car.
Ill pm you links for what I've found when I get to the lappy.
Ds has been toilet trained reliably for 6 months, the problem is if he falls asleep and we haven't put on a nappy :(
