Any Doulas/Trainee Doulas in Newcastle/Hunter Valley Area?

Hi there.

Just wondering if there are any Doulas/Trainee Doulas in the Newcastle/Hunter Valley area. I really want a Doula for when I do fall preg but have no idea where to look.

Hi Amy,

I am currently waiting on my first training module to arrive to begin doula training, but honestly don't know at this stage when I would be up to getting into the practical stuff....

There is a website, www.optimumbirth.com that provides a listing of doulas in the area, and I think there is also a section on the main bubhub site....

Am hoping that my training materials arrive any day now, I can't wait to get started on it!!

Good-luck with your training Kaz!!! I'd love to do that... I'm actually an aged care nurse (talk about opposite end of the range!!!:laughing:)
