Wow. What an interesting tradition! Honestly - I haven't heard of one similar to it in a long time!

I come from a country town full of hillbillies and I once heard a story that someone with the surname of 'Pig' named their three kids 'Imah' 'Urah' and 'Weira'

Say the names out loud... Poor kids...

I don't think the boys name Lachlan has been mentioned yet? (personal favourite of mine for obvious reasons!).
What about Julieann or Yasmin for a girl?

I don't think anyone has said Benjamin and the great thing is when you shorten it to Ben it still ends in N.

OH MY GOD! We could be related!! My mum has also a "thing" for names ending with N. My name is Shannon and my brothers are Dylan and Ryan.
And now that I'm expecting a baby, she is throwing lots of N names at me. We really like the names Owen, Tristan and Ewan for a boy, so perhaps the tradition will continue!!

Hi there,

Girls Name: Sheridan - although I have heard this as a boy's name (in the UK)

I think Madison is a lovely name also (we are thinking of this for one of our girls :) )

My parent have the same theme, but in addition to ending in "n", the names must all be 2 syllables. I have 13 brothers and sisters, and our names are Kristen, Erin, Allan, Ryan, Meghan, Nathan, Robyn, Colin, Madlin, Stephen, Carlin, Caelyn, Braedan, and Kathryn

I hadn't even thought about that before but I have done the exact same thing.

My kids are Brenton, Jordan and Jasmine.

I guess I like "n" names too. :)

Is that true Ally? Sounds like a family I heard of, with the last name ****. You can tell where this is going can't you? Kids names were Seymour and Ophelia.

It took me a while to figure out they didn't actually exist.. or at least I hope they didn't!! :p
