 I've been reading around and although I've found loads of good advice, I still have a couple of questions re going from EBM to formula.
DS was being fed EBM via bottle exclusively until last week but I've started introducing a couple of formula feeds a day. :D
Is there a better time during the day where I should give him the formula rather than EBM? Like at night or lunchtime or something?
Should I keep changing over gradually, ie. over a few weeks of mixing formula and EBM or can I do it pretty quick, over a few days? DS has taken to formula very well and seems very content whatever I feed him so I'm tempted to wean him off EBM quickly...
How do I get my milk supply to dry up on its own (no medication). I only express twice a day, but my boobs still produce a very large amount. Should I express less each time, ie. not drain them completely?
I've been giving him 180ml formula (as stated on the tin for 2 to 4 months) or 150ml EBM (I go by the 150ml per kg rule for EBM) each feed. Is this OK?
Thanks for your help!
Forgot to say that DS is just over 10 weeks old.
