Brief background, I'm planning a vbac after having my son by csection after being induced for 45 hours (labour incl. Prelabour was more like 30 hours) to be told at 8cms dialated Jasper was breech and so rush to surgery.
I'm pretty terrified of giving birth again. I'm 4.5 weeks pregnant - so still early early days. I'm scared of having a baby in a hospital again as the intervention and policy and disregard for my personhood was awful. I had no continuity of care - and I can't go to the birthing centre in gold coast due to planning a vbac so I'm facing the same again.
Im looking ideally for someone who's attended successful vbac's and does not believe a body after a csection is faulty.
Im looking for someone who will discuss openly with me any concerns, answer my questions honestly. Someone who will ask the questions I don't even know to ask.
Someone who is passionately supportive of womans bodily and human rights in labour.
Someone who is confident enough to speak up if something doesn't seem right - to myself or to my birthing partners or health professionals.
