Hi,
We are looking to change childcare and hoping someone might be able to suggest a good, stimulating and nurturing alternative. I've looked at Creative Play and they seem pretty good and warm and inviting. Can anyone comment on them or any other places around Ferny Grove, Ferny Hills, Arana Hills or The Gap or St Johns Wood areas? I don't mind driving a bit for the right place (I'm in Arana Hills currently)
DS is currently in Habitat Early Learning Montessori and they were great initially but the fees just kept going up and now its going to be $97 per day which I just can't afford! :eek: They also keep messing up and feeding him stuff he's (mildly) allergic to :( and have a constant staff turnover so I'm just not happy about it for a while now.The care staff are lovely but I don't know why they keep leaving - maybe they don't get treated very well. They DO have excellent programs for the kids that are challenging and cultural, but also they seem to have become a little didactic in their approach. I do love the montessori philosophy... and he's happy going for the most part, but I think I"m going to have to change... I don't know what to do in a way, I'm scared to change because he has friends there and I've heard there are so many dodgy places out there! (And seen some, like the one on Payne Rd in The Gap!!)
Does anyone have any thoughts at all about my situation? I'd love any suggestions of good places to look at and move him to!
