View Full Version : Help DS out wetting nappies
we have tried just about all brands of nappies and my DS out wets them all, he is a tummy sleeper which i think is most of the problem, he has 1 bottle before going to bed and wakes up soaking through his nappy, clothes, sleeping bag and sheets  i just don't know what to do, i even changed him Friday morning at 2 am and he STILL woke up soaking wet. Any idea's on what else i can try ???

I've heard some people use 2 nappies. They put a few slits in the first nappy so they liquid can drain through, and then put another nappy over the top.
Also some people buy the next size up in nappies to use just for night. As long as the legs fit snugly, then the rise will be higher and should absorb more overnight.

How old is your bub. Can you give the bottle a bit earlier. My sons 19 months old and his last milk is about an hr before bed. Then he can have a bit of water before he goes down if needed.
i only change him in the middle of the night if he wakes up otherwise i leave him sleep, if i wake him up he thinks it's play time and won't go back to sleep :( I was thinking maybe some cloth nappy boosters or something in his nappy to add more absorbency ?? He is 19 months and i have tried the next size up nappy it makes no difference, i think the problem is the tummy sleeping, because it all absorbs at the front and it can only take so much.

How about a big cloth night nappy? Like the BBH night nappy, they are very big and absorbent.
Maybe u could try a bamboo mcn nappy booster inside the disposables???
