Can anyone tell me what its like? Is there much work? What rent/house prices are like? Anything else? Thanks :)

My family lives down that way, so I grew up near young. As far as I know it's on the up- as in the town is expanding and doing really well.
My friend lives there and bought a few acres with an awesome house for 360k, I'm so jealous!!!
If we weren't settled where we are I'd love to move there!

I live 50 minutes from Young and it's always an enjoyable day shopping. Population is about 10,000 with the town expanding in regards to business potential. It's a pretty place, and becomes very busy during the cherry season.

I think its the right size, and after living out in the middle of nowhere with red dirt and rocks it sounds like the perfect place to live.
