 Hi Everybody
Day 13 of Lucrin
Day 2 of Puregon
10-14 days til EPU
Well, it has been a bizarre week of ups and downs.
Last night, I started my FSH/Puregon Pen Injections. I had a strange reaction to them. About 10 minutes after I had injected, I came over all dizzy, hot, couldn't breathe, and my heart was racing. I didn't have the emergency mobile number for my nurse, so had to call my GP, who told me to breathe slowly until it passed.
Luckily it did pass. I had to get ready to meet C ten minutes later, to get my next booty of needles etc. Ofcourse, now she is worried about my side effects and I feel awful. But hoping that it doesn't happen again when I do my next dose tonight.
I am really sick with a bad cold, and my DS who is 2 is suffering Tonsillitis and an Ear Infection. Poor Bubba. Plus it's school holidays at the end of next week, and my EPU is probably going to happen on around the 4th-6th of October. Smack bang in the middle of the holidays. We are hoping to secure a babysitter for the day.
At this stage, I am feeling quite terrified of Hyperstimming. I am not close to SIVF, so if anything goes wrong, I'm not able to just pop down to the clinic for a check up. I'm also concerned that something may interrupt my treatment, and the cycle will be cancelled. C has just given me a rundown of the costs involved, and so much of it rests on my ability to produce "the goods"
Other than these worries, I still really excited for C and A, who are getting a step closer to their dream everyday.
