:smiliedance: we had our first overnote go with cloth nappies last night. and it all went well:yes:

usually i stillput a sposie on bubs after her bath and then put her to bed. i guess i have been to worried about losing anymore sleep than i already still do....

so last night she had her disposable on and we were just having a little play in the lounge room while i sorted clean washing and she grabbed a nappy from the pile and was walking around with it and kept lying down ready for a nappy change with it (very cute and i like to encourage her to let me know when she needs a change) so i changed her and put the cloth nappy on adding in my new microfibre booster and an extra flannalette one too and topped it all off with our nice pul tot's bots cover and she was fine all night long. those covers are great.

she wasn't too wet this morning since i have started using fleece liners too and i was suprised, the nappy was wet but not overflowing. i am a bit more confident about it now.:smiliedance:

I haven't used a 'sposie in months! I got my BBH's a few months ago and a couple of other hemp nappies that I bought 2nd hand on Ebay and between the four of them, we are clothed every night! I add a hemp insert and a fleece liner and cover with a woolen BBH cover! Never a leakage and my bub is a 2-3 times a night feeder.

We still aren't fully in cloth yet, and not overnight. I want to but I just haven't found the perfect nappy yet, well I have, but I can't get my hands on any more of them. I love the Bits for Bots PUL pocket nappy. Its not as bulky as the Greens. I think bubby is a bit too young for the Greens to be a "great" nappy on him yet, its good but not great yet.

And I love my pookey pocket. I hate the fruit salad, I think he needs to grow into that one too so I am hanging on to it, and same deal with the Sandras Stuffable.

So we are in cloth during the day at home and in paper-bums when going out and also when wearing some of his jeans that just won't fit a cloth.

I cancelled my order of Beehinds. I thought about it and thought about it and finally decided to can it for the moment. I have enough nappies that need a cover. I want to find the perfect pocket AIO. If Greens were only TRIMMER in the crotch then I would love them. I wish they would make sizes instead of one size fits all.

So glad you had success over night. For most our nights we use a Very Baby Simple Nights (vbsn) with a wool cover. Now that's a bit warmer at night we just use shorties and no pj pants. Sheets and bub still dry in the morning. We love this overnight combo. Glad you have found yours.
