Anyone had experience of being pregnant and on the pill?
Anyone know the consequences of being pregnant and taking the pill?

I started mini pill when Hugh was 5 weeks but was forgetting it so much I stopped. Hugh has been sleeping through from 6 weeks so no bf from about 8pm- atleast 7am. My obs told me to get back on pill immediately, as conceived Hugh very quickly, but now I'm thinking "What if I did conceive, what damage could I be doing to the foetus?":confused:

Hi!! Cody was concieved when i was on the pill! i was well over 12 weeks preg before i even found out i was preg so i was taking the pill the whole time! Cody is perfect. :D My dr said that its best to stop the pill before getting preg but he said it wasnt to bad so i can only take his word for it!!!\but cody is fine so it cant be to bad!!!!

Matthew was my pill baby. I stopped taking it the day I started getting morning sickness and tiredness (before I did a HPT).

Thanks ladies, I'm sure it's nothing but I've been very tired, my main symptom when preg with Hugh, and doing lots of wees. We've been very busy though and had heaps of visitors and no rest!
Angus will be going away Wed so might get him to pick me up a test just incase- put my mind to rest anyway.

I got pregnant on the pill. My doctor didn't really mention anything about the side effects of it :confused:

One thing i have read though, is that you are more likely to conceive twins if you become pregnant on the pill... so weird :p

well, i havent..but have heard of people who have..and it makes ya wonder how effective it really is??? wierd aye! :detective:

Yep, I know of about a dozen people IRL who got pregnant on the pill. I think they need to revise the 99% effective stats.

my 1st daughter was concieved on the pill i was shocked, didnt think it could happen i was 15years at the time.
