MJ is 16 months & in the last week cant seem to get enough bf in a day. She's asking for it all the time, will stay on for ages & fight with me when i try to take her off. She's eating well otherwise so cant be hunger.

The only new/different thing that has happened is i've stopped the mini-pill, could that have affected the bm?

Has anyone else had this happen at this age?

I'm sorry I don't have any personal experience to offer-my two had been weaned a bit before this age but I was thinking of all the usual things-maybe a growth spurt, a bit of separation anxiety, emotional growth and just trying to find a way to deal with it.....
You have already probably thought of these things :o but I want to send you and MJ some:hugs: :hugs: regardless.

My DS always seems to want more bf when he's teething or just not feeling 100%. He likes to use me as a dummy!:( I'm a bit like jo_jo, I try diverting his attention to something else if i think he's had enough.

My friends DD did this at around the same age (right up until she was weaned at 2yrs 3mths). My friend just kept persisting and saying no constantly and that worked eventually. It didn't stop completely, but it did lessen.

Thanks guys. Its probably just seperation anxiety starting to kick in, its normal at 18months apparently. Dont think its teething, but that never really stops does it!

Thanks for the hugs too :hugs:
