I bought some beads a few weeks ago from a company that was recommended to me and the other day my friend asked me if I got a certificate with them .... Which I didn't and they don't supply them.
Have I bought a fake? The company said they don't supply them but have tested the beads etc and it does all the proper things like floating in water etc.
Now I doubting if it's working on bub, I thought I noticed a change but I am confused now.
So can you let me know if you did or didn't and if they really did work where did you get them
I have bought a few from different places, the only ones I got a certificate with were from amber babe, but they have all worked just as well as each other. HTH :)

usually they do come with authenticity certs, and while they could definately still be genuine without one its odd that the company doesnt supply certs since most ppl wont buy them without one and they'd be losing a lot of business. the best way to test if the amber is real is to heat up a needle under a flame until its red hot, then pierce a bead, if it smells like pine sap (which is what amber actually is, fossilised pine sap) then its the real deal, if it smells like burning plastic or nothing at all, chances are its a fake.

I have not received them yet, but while i was searching the net about them I found this article, HTH!!!
